Why there should not be RDF

Its very simple.

It promotes less communication between people and turns the MMO portion game into a instant gratification single player system.

Earn your group. Then build up cohesion then you got friends to run with all the time.

RdF should never be in WoTLK or Cata… or MOP classic.

Keep it out.

sound like something you could do even if an optional RDF button were included.

So, remove PvP, right?
Because it’s cross realm. It’s also cross faction. It’s also queue for towns. Killed world PvP.

You’re right. No more cross realm PvP. Server identity matters.

Oh…not for pvp? So you promote double standard?
cuz got forbid I do scarlet monastery with randoms, meanwhile that player plays on a 30k mega server, where everyone knows each other so darn well. One big 30k family.

Yeah, presenting yourself in a list of many other competitives and only being picked for your class and gs. That is what real communication looks like!

Pls no Cata or MOP-Classic

Let me tell you a secret

They dont want to put in the work to setup the system to support the current amount of players that they would need to use it for without crashing the system.

So its not happening

They made it clear they dont do extensuve work with classic AV and then Wintergrasp.

They just dont!!

We’re not getting it at launch. You got your wish. We can revisit this when wrath has been out a while and everyone on your server is raid logging.

It would’ve been far easier to implement RDF than programming a new tool for wotlk…

I have yet to see where you can prove this as compared to the current system.

But keep beating that drum.

Over the course of playing classic, tbc, and som I have never once regrouped with someone, spoken to them again, or added someone that I did a dungeon with if they weren’t in my guild. “Community” is dead either way.

Ya’ll have the most warped sense of accomplishment I have seen in a long time. No wonder you want to keep gatekeeping dungeons. You don’t want the bar getting raised.

This is called having a guild. Guilds and RFD coexist with each other just fine.

PvP is as much of a team game as it gets. No single person wins a battleground. The fact that you can’t tell the difference between a battleground and a 5 man dungeon says a lot.

I’m all for RDF but this reasoning that battlegrounds are the same as 5 man dungeons and they both deserve an automated queue is just ridiculous.

it’s physically impossible to talk less than what we already do. the only time my groups ever say anything is if we start wiping multiple times otherwise it’s just a “heya” when invited and a “GG” when its over

Thinking TBC and Classic have anything remotely close to a “social” atmosphere which promotes “communication” is a complete joke.

did dungeons the other night, all we talked about was, “need someone to help me summon” and thats about it…look at all that socializing i would have missed had i just been ported to the dungeon

The devs gaslit you guy so hard with the socializing comment. Its hilarious because you took that bait and ran with it LOL

Its literally the only thing you can talk about in regards to RDF and it makes your stance look so weak that its sad.

I give credit where credit is due. Blizz are masters at manipulating their fanboys.

It does make it easy to spot the trolls. Social experience and player agency…

Not a single person can clear a heroic either.
Not a single person can clear a raid either.

Random BGs, quite literally, have practically zero coordination. Same applies to dungeons. They are not all that different from each other. One just happens to be scripted PvE content, but still with tons of variables & effects with different group comps.

If teleporting to dungeons ruins the immersion, so does queuing for PvP. We run to dungeons & raids, no reason not to run to BG locations.

It doesn’t because they are not the same. Battlegrounds would not function without an automatic queue.

But I understand you want RDF so bad you are more than willing to go over to your neighbor’s house and burn it down because daddy blizz wont give you your toy.

You can reply to me but I am done with you. I know how these arguments go with people who are being obtuse on purpose.

I’m not even against RDF just against ridiculous arguments.
