But why did you start playing classic if you don’t like how classic works bro?
They want to rush classic so people will play retail when they are done. Classic is just a stop gap.
Well at least 800 players of my realm’s faction cares. Vanilla was always hardcore compared to it’s later years, it was one of the main draws for us.
I tried to make it clear that the people I play with have very active lives but still choose to spend a large amount of their time playing Classic WoW.
I don’t think you’re in a position to judge the lives of such a large amount of people. Nobody else is attacking how you live your life, because nobody knows you personally and even if we did, it wouldn’t be any of our business.
Like you said, we pay for this game too. If you’re willing, you’ll reach this content at your own speed. I hope you’ll enjoy it when you do, just like we are currently.
If you aren’t going to engage in a proper discussion instead of resorting to immature retorts that I would expect from a juvenile, nobody is going to take what you have to say seriously.
No man, people are tired of the no lifers coming in and ruining the game. That’s the whole point. #Resist
2 of them dead within… 6-7 year, the last one on it’s knee?
any of them ever beat 2 million subs? ( subs… not the F2P I-tried-it-for-a-week BS)
that’s what you call competition?
atleast you could’ve said FF14 as it’s the only who ever reached 50% of wow subs.
Ruining what exactly? Just play the game and enjoy it like the rest of us. We all have content to engage with, maybe if you didn’t spend your time resisting events that you can’t currently engage with, you could progress on your own.
Ruining what exactly?
Faction imbalances are going to get worse if wPvP is usually one-sided.
Blizzard should improve faction balance before they release Phase 2.
I agree that something should be done for the other struggling servers but that doesn’t guarantee anything.
The Alliance are already taking over Horde hubs just for the fun of it on my realm. They are ready to pvp with or without phase 2.
This is what the “Hardcore” players do and what the rest of the community has to deal with.
They speed level to 60 in a week. When they get there they complain about how EAASY the content is and they blow through it in the first week of the release. How do they do it>? They bring the only the most op classes/specs available and have a straight lined plan to get the bis gear available at the time.
People wanted classic wow so they could relax and experience the world in it’s original state, explore it etc. You don’t like the leveling grind, the raids are too easy for you, professions are boring, then what’s the point of playing the game? So you can twink out and own noobs?
If you just hit 60 on your first or main character this past weekend you are definitely behind the curve.
The “curve” includes retail zoomers. Is it really fair to those who have been waiting over a decade for this to cater to that mindset?
I only just hit 40 this past weekend. I’m a filthy classic casual. Only had 2 people hit 60 so far in our slow guild. I’m ok tho. My only hope is some of you hardcore alliance 60s are still playing when they are camping my body for that quick released honor. Its about to get rough out there my fellow casuals!
They speed level to 60 in a week.
It’s been at least a few months now, boz. The rest of what you stated is how I remember vanilla.
Except for the complaining part which I haven’t seen from the many people who I’ve connected to through the game and by extension online community. In fact the only person that is complaining here, is you.
I looked through your post history. Are you ever happy with this game?
By the way, I love the leveling in classic, the raids are in fact easy but I love the chill atmosphere and coordinating together with 39 other players, professions have value that I felt has been missing for many years in modern wow. I’m not too interested in twinks but maybe one day I’ll give it a go.
What’s the point of playing the game? We enjoy it and the people we play with.
I plan to play this version of WoW for many years to come. If you can’t find enjoyment from this game, please don’t try to take away ours.
Dude, we’re nearly 3 months since launch. Even in Vanilla circa 2004 taking more than 3 months to hit max level is slow compared to most players.
Play how you want, play slow or play fast. But it’s not fair to make demands of Blizzard to suit your play style.
A lot of those “zoomers” got their mains to max level and just raid log now. Many of those same players are now leveling alts. Be happy those alts are there to group with you.

It’s ironic that those who complain that Blizzard is catering to a certain demographic, are the ones begging to be catered to.
I enjoy playing this game possibly more than I should but I fail to understand how I’m ruining the game simply by playing it. We waited years for a re release of classic, why on earth would Blizzard end it after one year?

Dude, many people, especially those on RP and RPPVP realms are not all about leveling.

Who is making demands, besides those who are bored and cannot realize everything that the game offers beyond a myopic view of pvp?

I honestly could give less than a mouse fart for the former, and I am really not certain what relevance the latter has on the discussion.

Have a look at any posts that demands that blizzard stop catering to a chosen demographic of players, when in fact blizzard monitors how all of us play and appreciate us all as customers.
We all have content to play through, why isn’t that great?

It’s relevant because there are players that you likely are grouping with, who are in fact lower level alts of the players who you have decided are ruining the game for you.
This I will agree with. I’m currently on a heavily alliance favored server as horde and I really hope that the game doesn’t become unplayable because blizzard doesn’t feel like balancing the servers.
Socially isolated manchildren have hilarious amounts of free time, many of these people only have wow + other games as a hobby, they basically never leave their chair.
People who would never go out for a night instead of play wow, people who don’t have human relationships they need to maintain, these people think playing wow 6-10 hours a day, every day, is normal.
