Why The Rush Blizzard?

Who says i’m speaking for myself? I’m not 60 yet and I’m taking my time. I’m speaking for what I think the general populace is like.

And now you want Blizzard to hold back and wait till everyone is fully geared from MC.

I’ve had the time to level two characters to 60, have another alt at 30+ and still spent a solid amount of time grinding for gold, materials and the like. I am by no means a top 1% player either as I know many people that have achieved much more.

If someone is just now hitting 60 then they are simply a player that is behind the curve. There is nothing wrong with that. It could be due to skill, play style or even the amount of time dedicated to the game. Expecting the entire player base to wait on the bottom percentage of players to catch up to the top percentage doesn’t benefit the game. People will still be running MC and Onyxia in phase 6.

What benefit does it give the game for people to rush to 60 and gear up with BIS in the first month of release?

Those people are playing the game, fueling the economy, finding bugs and glitches that can later be fixed and more. They also aren’t preventing anyone else from progressing more slowly than they are and completely allowing the slower levelers and gearers to do so at the their own pace.

Phase 3 by the end of the year is needed. People are not like they were in 04. Everything is much more efficient. Bgs and BWL would add a significant amount of things to do and keep the majority of the playerbase, i.e. people with a max level character, entertained. Most people do not like lvling and if you’re like me you have no interest in alts either.

If yall were 60 you’d understand. You only argue against it because you are not 60 and have no idea what max lvl play is like right now.

Dude, who CARES if these people are entertained? If half the player base quit today… what effect would it have? None.

These people have no lives and need to be crushed.

Nothing you just said makes any sense from the perspective of someone who wants this version of the game to succeed. This leads me to believe you are simply trolling.

I think the game will succeed regardless of feeding no lifers more content. No lifers are absolutely addicted to the game. Without it they’d lose their minds.

What does that have to do with anything? No lifers aren’t preventing anyone from playing the game the way that they want to. Basing the patch schedule on the bottom percentile of players makes no sense.

It’s not the bottom percentile. The top percentile try to run the damned game. The game isn’t designed for you people.

If each phase went for 3 months it would only go for 18 months…

why the rush? because twitch streamer sare whining there is nothing to do in classic because they rushed to end game in less then a week.

mark my words as soon as phase 2 launches less then mid way through they will start whining for bgs.

They plague the game. Ruin it with stupid demands

DM wasn’t released for 6 weeks after launch, the rest of phase 2 won’t be release for almost 3 months. It seems more like blizzard is generally responding the over all pace people are moving through content given that MC/Ony are being routinely pugged and not the people who power leveled in a week.

They’re probably trying to keep streamers (and their viewers) engaged with Classic content until the release of Shadowlands.

What? Hitting 60 at 8 days played mostly solo for a person who hasn’t played since BC is pretty damn efficient.

If you want to be casual go to retail, Pet battles, toys, puzzles xmog and all that garbage is waiting for you

Nov 2004 to Jan 2007 is 2 years and a bit not 3 years. You are a moron straight up.

why time gating for a start? its a 15 year old game that not even a authentic vanilla. They should of released all content on day 1.
