It’s right around 3000 guilds that have recorded full MC clears on warcraftlogs. There’s likely far more that have cleared MC and not recorded their kills with logs, especially players from China, as they don’t seem to use warcraftlogs all that much.
Not wrong, and realy not upset LOL. But, whatevs.
Yep, its going to be the ones you lost because you are a foot-long turd sandwich.
Again, that’s not very nice. I wish you the best of luck in finding a real job! And good luck in Azeroth too, hero. Hopefully you don’t get bored out of your mind with NOTHING to do.
giving up so soon? tisk tisk…
So what you’re saying is that because these guilds, who have rushed through everything trying to get geared as fast as possible, who couldn’t wait for the day vanilla wow was released so they could see how fast they could get to 60… THESE are the players we are agreeing to cater to. We’re already catering to these people on retail, who could give a crap about anything but getting that next piece of gear.
And also are the first ones, to come on here complaining there’s not enough content.
If you want the Vanilla experience, you should expect people to be ahead of you. That’s the way it was in Vanilla for almost EVERYONE. If you want “catch up” time, BfA has that.
BfA is the game where everyone is given a participation trophy, where everyone is given time to catch up, where all the content is timegated. Let people get ahead in Classic, just like they did in Vanilla.
That is blasphemous dude. So we should sit back and let the private server players and speed levelers have massive advantages, for the sake of timegating.
Good luck keeping up on AP if your casual in bfa or keeping an alt updated. Other then the long leveling time classic is actually better for casuals in most regards.
AP is buffered by a catch up mechanic known as artifact knowledge. It takes a minimal amount of time to “keep up” with AP now. Keeping an alt updated? How is that easier in Classic? You have to spend 8 days of real time leveling and then grind raids for two-three drops per boss with 39 other people in order to get gear.
You know how an alt gets geared in BfA? A day or two of Mythic+ grinding.
what does it matter if it is tomorrow or 12 months from now, either way all the content will be out and that is it. They should have just released it all from the beginning, because it does not matter, classic is what it is and nothing more.
It matters because it’s not the way it was in classic. If you are a speed leveling min/maxer, sorry… the game should not change for you.
It sounds easier on paper then it does in practice.
Granted you can find a group first. Every pug checks ilvl, they want to know your highest key you’ve done and how much gold you’re willing to spend for a run since you haven’t been farming keystones for weeks.
Yes I can log on now and grind to get LFR perhaps, but after that it’s a horrible time trying to pug anything. (And what a reward, I get to go into an instance that is a complete roll over/empty shell of what it usually is…) I have 1 toon at a reasonable Ilvl , then 4 120s that won’t see any content.
The part that is different is, I can get somewhat mediocre gear handed out to me by doing World Quest for a day or two. But even that caps out til the good ol raider id/iscore thing that is required now.
That’s true, you’ll likely need to convince some friends to carry you now that the raider. io mentality is so prevalent.
If you feel this way, classic is not the game for you, go try retail where everyone gets a participation trophy, gotta make your peace with no lifers being ahead of you, not everyone gets to be “ahead of the curve” ZING!!!
It really is a cancer for the whole pugging scene. People who paid for +10 keys get the high iscore, then guess who you get lumped with for a pug trying to push your key…
Those same people who buy all their runs/gear so that way your key gets tanked and no real rewards are coming your way unless you do multiple keys now, and heavily vet your group.
Completely agree with you.
Times were different 15 years ago when we first played this. Now most of us have families to provide for and other commitments. I do enjoy playing it and am happy they brought it back.
Yea I mean I have a family and career too but man it’s obvious to me that back in the classic days, that it was manageable to have both a career, family and geared epic level 60.
So what these speed levelers and no lifers are doing was their original plan in the first place. Practice leveling on private servers, get to 60 fast as possible so we have a massive advantage over casuals, min/max EVERYTHING. Then pressure blizz to release content faster than normal so they’ll never catch up. Then post on forums on how that was the original vanilla experience.
I don’t know what any of this means because I don’t play retail. Sounds awful.
That’s basically Vanilla in a nutshell. It’s all about having a massive advantage over people by being more tryhard than them
No it’s not and no it wasn’t I was there. There were very few people who had epics on my server. If you had epic gear you were the MAN.
