If you look at their schedule now I think they will knock out most of classic this next year launch the next xpac 2020 blizzcon 2020 will reveal BC servers for 2021, blizzcon 2021 showcase next xpac, rinse wash repeat up to Wrath imo.

Buddy, you are in the minority here. Like i said, if you are just now hitting 60 your doing something wrong. And if you did it on purpose, well, thats your own doing.
Casual players have hit 60 all over the world and are ready for more content. Just because you are slow and/or chose to level slowly does not mean the rest of the community has to wait on you.
In any case. Your ability to play classic is not diminished what-so-ever with additional content. You very literally still MUST progress through raid content unless you deliberately chose not to by being carried. All content in classic will be raided until the END of phase 6.
Dont get upset because you chose to take your time.
Because phase 1 is all about the power level, amiright?!? I “dreamt” I played a Druid on pservers, I was able to do all the dungeon quest and most the zones to completion before I hit 60. Did it take me longer? Of course (round 10d played). But now with my Mage, I skipped over a good amount of content so that way I could still get to 60 at a reasonable rate before the rest of the content is pushed on us. Wasn’t nearly as “enjoyable” since I had a deadline to meet.
Uhhh this is confusing? I am a Casual player, just hit 60 and I haven’t done everything. Are you saying I’m not casual? People can’t play for 40+ hours a week like you, I have things to do still IRL! Being able to game more then what most part time jobs req hours wise, is not casual my friend.
Even if it only took you 5days played to hit 60, and you did that in the first month, that’s still averaging almost 27hours a week GAMING! And that’s only power leveling too, which isn’t the most fun/rewarding of experiences in something that’s a recreation and has no merits for competitiveness at all.
Have you got exalted with all the factions you can yet? Do you have an epic mount from the other cities? Do you have an alt? I know its hard to look outside the box for some but there’s PLENTY to do at 60.

99% of wow players never play harder content than LFR in retail, people don’t play this game because its hard.
Nope. I want a reasonable pace that works for the most people, which will extend the life of the game. The zoomers will be back with each content release. Your way just means more people leaving for good, sooner… when they’ve devoured everything as quickly as possible. Might be good for you, but not for the overall game.

right now on earthfury I can list 12 raiding team clearing molten core and onyxia ( and since I barely play outside of reset day, I’m probably missing 12 more).
that’s a minimum of 480 unique player (horde-side only, of course)… earthfury… not a tryhard server like stalagg-herod-faerlina…
there’s a friggin lot of people in MC.
Its a hard concept but at level 60 you can actually hit Log Off, and make another toon if you’re that bored. Your toon isn’t going anywhere!

How many days / played?
Check the amount of people logging high level content to the overall playerbase.
The largest group of wow players just clears old raids for tmog, they never do current content.
Even heroic raiders make up only a small portion of the playerbase.

How many people do you think were subscribed to Modern WoW before Classic launch?
