think of it like an arms race, if you group up, then i need to group up, now we're both grouped up and playing, any new player sees that and also groups up. groups then become the norm, meaning that anytime you want to pvp if you want a fighting chance you need to go find a group. this shouldn't be a requirement, players not should feel forced to group for content they have never had to group up to do before.

its certainly possible that solo-queuers are a small minority that don't warrant the dev resources needed to make a new queue. i don't believe this is true, but its really the only valid reason.

i find it really hard to believe you on that, given the amount you pvp, you should have seen all sorts of nonsense in your time, i certainly have and i don't pvp nearly as much as you.

Premade raids make it obvious that Blizzard doesn't strictly match premade groups.
If they did, premade raids would always face teams filled with 5-man premades. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen. They often go against pugs.

I honestly can't wait until Classic where we'll be able bring a full 40 into AV. It will be good times.

Why all this complaining all of a sudden? Is it because this weeks CTA was 4 bg wins?
I agree with some of what you said. People (within limits like 4) should be able to play with friends. However, I feel that if people start creating groups on LFG we are headed down a slippery slope. It will get to a point that every player will need to find a group in order to have fun and be competitive.
Like I first stated I am not against playing with friends, but actually creating a group to do Randoms, sounds a bit too much.

BTW, would like to point out that most people in PUGS no longer communicate because of "silence ban." Pre-Legion BGs, people would communicate, joke, curse at times, and have fun. Now since you can get silenced for almost anything, most players stay quiet. At least in the Random BGs I have been involved in no one communicates, gives orders, asks for help, or criticize others because of this.

You know you can still do that now, you simply communicate with your friends when the queue pops?
The only reason they don't enable solo que only is that the premaders need solo ques to fill the gaps. Solo ques do not need premades at all and would notice negative effects of their ques being split from the premades but the premades would certainly notice a huge increase in que times.
It's a very parasitic relationship with no advantage to the solo que guys

I don't think the lack of communication is due to a "silence ban." If they're not communicating, it's because they don't communicate. I communicate everything, and people respond and I get wins with or without my friends.

I don't mind premades. It helps the weaker players band together if they find it difficult to win when they solo queue.
