Views = eyes on target. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the general consensus has been swinging in the direction of anti-boosts. Almost all notable content creators have come out against it and all the threads about it get overwhelming support and engagement.

The meaning of ‘views’ is not ‘eyes on target’. The value of views on a thread is ‘eyes on target’. And it does support my argument for that very reason amongst the others I mentioned in the reply that you are selectively quoting from.
