I do think Tauren need more, but I never felt like the faces added much, I think some of the other features add more oomph. Some scars and much more broken horns would be nice. I guess because it’s such an animal face I don’t notice as much on the different faces as other features.
But with such a big race, I’d love a lot of basically battle damage options to get a look of a warrior who’s been through it all and survived things a much smaller creature might not have.
I think the biggest buff to Tauren customization would be to bring in more stuff inspired by the other variants. Trolls have some of their other variants represented, same as Dwarves, no reason why they couldn’t bring in some aspects from Taunka and Yaungol.
Maybe not those subraces entirely but face shapes and maybe more horn options taken from them. My pipe dream is Mok’thanal as an option for Orcs but I think that would be a bit too much work for this patch at least.

That’s much more of what I would have wanted an AR to be, something where the change was more than just the antlers, although if it was Taunka, I’d hope they’d go back and change things so the women weren’t just normal tauren still
I personally hope they don’t add anymore allied races, since they were clearly just a tossed together gimmick to sell BfA. If they do give more allied races then they should for sure be races from prior expansions that are… actually allied with the factions.
Failing that, give the playable races they’re related to options that reflect them.

Oh my god I was subbed and playing during that whole “The Horde is waiting for you” debacle that happened on the forums (and some of the very same anti’s posting on this thread were the the BIGGEST smearers of that meme. The toxicity bled into discord spying and one of the Anti’s got banned for bringing it here).
It’s probably because of that reason alone that I’m loving the seething going on right now. I feel no sympathy, but I still wish them the best with their own customization desires down the line.
As for some wondering why they’re not adding more for lfd and nb, it’s probably because people just don’t play those races as much and just don’t care, or got what they were asking for and are now satisfied.

We got copy+paste content. The only actual new stuff we got was 2 eye colours. This stuff, again, is copy+paste content too

Personally, I see it as we’ve gotten two passes now. Both fairly impactful. Blood elves have gotten one and it wasn’t very impactful for them.

It’s literally copy+paste content - the meaning behind it doesn’t really matter when they’re talking about us hogging all the resources and acting like we’ve been given everything. Other ARs got new stuff from their core race counterpart too, but nobody’s acting like they were given a ‘customization pass’?
