Why the lack of Customization?

The chart they worked all day on wasn’t accurate? Will be intrigued to see an accurate account anyways, Zan was doing a count on Blood Elves but will take awhile because busy he said in an earlier post and I will wait for that.

Not yet, perhaps after the release of the 9.1.5 author will do the chart once again.

However, I am shocked that the Nightborne male got boosted so much, perhaps because of the extra mustache and chin decoration options.

Well, these were the results I got from the PTR when I multiplied them all together. I can re-check

I’m pretty sure I’ll still be right about Alliance taking 10 of the bottom 15 slots and Horde taking up 10 of the top 15.

The human female has 202,095,129,600 on their chart that they worked whole day, meanwhile in the 9.0 pre-patch’s chart they have 606,285,388,800.

Um, aren’t some options actually locked to other options, especially for Void Elves and Humans. Even the original Author on Reddit took noted of this

This is very disheartening to hear more examples of the patch that was supposed to be the NBs time in the sun was just … rushed and not quality

Alright, let’s forget humans, how come you got 334,881,152,000 for the Nightborne female?

The math was wrong for multiple races on that chart? I’m definitely going to wait for the chart on Blood Elves as I said above

This might be wrong, but the males have 29,352,960(without DH customization) - that’s ridiculously low, jfc.
The male VEs have 7,987,200 choices to make - also ridiculously low.

This is with the new stuff coming in the next patch

Dunno, pretty sure I calculated it up, and even double checked on everything.

But I have never said the chart is accurate. Even when I posted it on Google Docs to record it, I put a note saying numbers aren’t accurate.

Did you count all 18 faces for the Void Elves? Because I only counted the 10, since the faces are literally just copy+paste.

I think it probably gets confusing when people try to do too many races at once.

I’d actually be more interested to see a Blood Elf fan count Blood Elf options and a Void Elf fan count Void Elf options and discuss from there as opposed to one person doing them all who both could be biased and have off math.

The original skin tones are locked to certain faces and same with the other skin tones to the other faces

Yeah, but they’re all the same faces. But for some reason Blizzard didn’t release Void Elves with the original 10 faces Blood Elves have. If I did count all 18 faces though, I would have arrived at your count. Unless we’re both doing this wrong, I think these are the actual final numbers.

Here is the link to what I posted on Google Docs:

Even the original chart from the pre patch wasn’t accurate.

Blood elf male.

  • 10 face options
  • 14 skin colour options
  • 21 hairstyle options
  • 16 hair colour options
  • 13 facial hair options
  • 3 ear options
  • 16 eye colour options

10x14x21x16x13x3x16= 29,352,960

Lunaera, don’t fall to this level of hostility, please…
Just say that the chart isn’t accurate.

Can you please make a comparison between Blood and Void Elves and how they have now? Thanks!

These are the numbers for the males. They’re both really low.

Well, there is 18 faces total, as well, as well as 20 skin options to chose from.

Now, 6 out of the 20 skin colours on the Void Elves are locked to 8 out of the 18 faces and the other 16 skin colours are locked to the remaining 10 faces.

Mind you, the Blood Elf female isn’t accurate either as some of the earings are also locked onto ear sizes
