Fairness would also mean we’d have an evenish playerbase without a massive skew in one’s favor, but that’s just not the reality of the game right now.
This isn’t about ‘right or wrong’ so much as it’s Blizzard struggling with obtuse solutions to what is ultimately, not that hard a fix. If you can’t incentivize people to go from horde to Alliance, then we have to start breaking down the things that separate Horde from playing with Alliance.
This isn’t ever going to stop with one side being given more attention in the desperate attempt to balance out a very unbalanced faction based game.

Really makes me wonder if Draenei eyes are sensitive to gems for some reason lmao. So maybe that means someone is trying to steal her crystals then.
Either way though, I thought it was weird to see a Draenei with red eyes but I kind of dug it.

And this is the first and biggest failure in their attempts. I guarantee you the people that mains Belves on Horde after more than a DECADE getting told they “don´t belong” but that regardless stay, do so because they either feel an actual genuine appreciation for the race in it´s current Horde affiliated state or because they are interested in gameplay content participation of high end caliber (and believe me, the higher the content, the less probable they use a Belf unless it´s a DH and one of the DH specs is “broken”).
Better yet, who said that goth = vampirical?

Big agree Blood Elves lack a second visual theme and Void Elves have 2 one of which came from BEs visually and they retain their own visual theme at that which again is more than BEs can claim.
Void Elves shouldn’t get a third visual theme while BEs are trying to catch up, and if both got 3 visual themes one day my gosh I hope core races that aren’t Thalassian have gotten way more attention that’s way ahead of things and unfair to even consider

Void Elves don’t need attention rn after two passes. Blood Elves need to catch up and core races need to catch up and there’s ARs they haven’t touched.

I think cross faction grouping (outside of warmode) cross faction guilds would be the biggest help for Alliance players.
Then people can enjoy the aesthetics they want or minmax and still progress and play with friends.

Not wanting to sound mean but even after all the mini passes Void elves got with the copy pastes since the launch of SL, Void elves will still be 40 options behind Blood elves in customization come 9.1.5. Moving forward, I am hoping for customization for both races that will make them more equal but also give them some unique looks from each other at least in the colour spectrum.

I’d be fine with VEs giving the second theme they received back in return for flooding their option numbers with jewelry and hair styles
Or even if this was on the table would Helfers dislike it because they know the value they received that BEs lost in visual uniqueness. Curious thought anyways

Is about a failed argument. Sorry not sorry, the actual proper portrayal of vampires has never generalized them as “goths”. And if we are to be double picky, the true goths in this game are the Forsaken in both aesthetics AND portrayal (Velves are more emo in comparison).
To say they deserve the unique vampire portrayals cause they are goths is to say Belves deserve unique Nature portrayal cause traditional wood / high elf themes. Apples to oranges, people mistaking one trend on the goth pop culture doe4s not make their delusions correct, period.
They should just copy/paste our jewelry to them, they’ve copy/paste most everything else.

Again because they’re trying so desperately, imo, to make blood elf players to migrate more over to alliance and all this is gonna do is breed more resentment and the fact void elves have a much smaller class pool than blood elf.
It could be their ‘band aid on a bullet hole’ solution to try and gain something in the time between expansions or major patches but I feel like it’s only going to hurt their cause.
