Why the lack of Customization?

As a Blood Elf I just don’t care. I’m happy High Elf fans can finally play as what is essentially a High Elf.

To me, I’ve never really seen Blood/High Elves as a race specifically belonging to one faction, because in the lore that’s never been the case. (I mean, after BC)

Get over yourself. The Blood elves have every single option available to us that every npc and even concept art has shown in the history of this game aside from the tattoos. Void elves still have options cut off to them that, most notably Aleria has and even the high elves that joined them. Most people consider the void aesthetic to be obnoxious and no one even asked for them in the first place. They are now getting options to expand on that.

I’ll even address this for the night elves since I’ve seen a comment about their customization options as well relating to nightborne. The night elves have the world given to them and drowning in options that fulfill their rp needs with the biggest one of them all being the night warrior options. That’s huge by itself. The nightborne were implemented as playable as basically dollar store versions of all of the npcs both hostile and friendly. The options currently in are nothing compared to what npcs around Surumar, it’s dungeons and raids have. Now we’re seeing that progressively being made available.

Both blood elves and night elves have nothing to complain about at all.

If it makes you feel better this mage used to be a blood elf for years up until last month.

can i see your alliance toons too. only then shall i give my final judgement

of course I will complain if the customization that makes my race unique is shared with another race of the opposite faction and obviously I will want customization that differentiates me from that race

They’re blood elves as well. There’s literally nothing different between blood and high elves and people are getting their rp desires fulfilled at least through that.

How about I provide a list?

Killian - Emeral dream
Vainless - Area 52
Arkinor - Area 52

All used to be my mains years ago with Killian being the one that I’ve kept up until recently. The demon and dk that I’ve already shown you used to be Alliance as well before shadowlands launched.

Dont entertain that! The heck do you need their “Judgement” for!?

i rp on alliance way more then horde too and this will shatter my immersion. i already stick in my trp info “will always mistake ‘high elves’ for blood elves” for my alliance toons

Well create a time machine and mind control someone into making blood elves and high elves one faction under the Alliance instead of leaving the decision to some poll released in another country.

It doesn’t bother me that void elves have blood elf customization. as long as we have unique customization that differentiates us from void elves.
I want lightforged customization because it is appropriate with the lore we already have golden eyes thanks to the sunwell and thematically it differentiates us from the void elves.

I don’t need it. I know what they’re trying to do, but I have no issue entertaining it.

This is an issue that Blizzard created for themselves due to limiting themselves because of lore reasons (no point in keep classes restricted either) and now they’re at least throwing a bone for void elves to look more representative of the high elves that people have wanted for years. And as I’ve said. No one wanted void elves. At all. When Aleria appeared and even consumed a Naaru and turned into a void infused elf no one asked for void elves. It was high elves, but Blizzard said nope and gave them these obnoxious looking elves. They even threw some high elves in the rift to try and please them which was short sighted. But now, the people get their wishes.

If anyone want to complain about thallassian elves being on both sides then blame the people that decided dividing these elves between Horde and Alliance was a good idea.

So, you don’t want thalassian elves looking like thalassian elves, but you want blood elves to look like draenei…

Anyone playing a draenei would look at your post and grill you for that.
