You are right. At the end lightning is incredibly linked to both Trolls / Orcs, lizards and shamanism, ergo more Horde-ish.
Damn, I think we have found a good source for Z Troll customizations, maybe? I mean a lightning effect surrounding the body of Z trolls would be awesome.
Not sure for every race, but you are spot on for Zandlari and Orcs / shamans.
It was really strange to me Zandalari could not have yellow / golden eyes like in MoP and their blue / thunder tattoos.
Edit: Blue tattoos wee even made for them before the golden ones, but not given to players.
I just wish my Zandalari lady looked different. My biggest complaint about Z trolls is that the female form is basically a scaly version of the original troll form
I love the female troll form too, but I wish they had changed the way Z troll females had ended up. It would have been even cooler for them to flip the script and make the females taller than the males, kind of like the blood ma’das the blood trolls had, but not as beefy lol
A lot of animal species have the females as much larger than the males, so if they’re going by sexual dimorphism like they love to do in this game, make a race with bigger or taller females. (kul tiran notwithstanding)
We should! I think it’s also part in the troll request thread, should be hm.
Indeed! More tattoos for all races and scars too would be awesome. For Trolls and Zandalari I would love motives of loa and more pre-Columbian inspired things.
Also i wish there was a male Z Troll with a more muscular neck and a more MoP like face… less Night Elf.
Though they had thwarted the attempt to create a new portal, the rebellious Highborne had no plans to join the night elf resistance, and continue fighting the Legion. Fearing calamity, Elisande and her followers to fortify there holdings in Suramar. They harnessed the Eye of Aman’Thal, one of the Pillars of Creation, to create an inmense fount of arcane magic. Known as the Nightwell, this source of power would nourish the sorcerers and protect them from future threats. In the millennia to come, the found would also change Elisande and her allies, transforming them into a new race called the Nightborne.
I don’t see how they’re a “technically the same race” when it’s stated in Chronicle that they’re not…
Like this line is pretty clear.
A new race.
Like I get what you’re trying to say that they still hold much of the highborne culture (though that’s clearly shifted as well over ten thousand years with the nightwell) but I don’t see how they’re not a new race.
It was referred to as a bug for the Nightborne males because in the preview of the new male Nightborne customization options they posted in this thread, the faces they showed didn’t have the scowl but ended up with one on the PTR, thus it was labeled a bug and removed.
