I think they need to take a gander at the customization options/UI of Guild Wars 2. They have a pretty good system in place for all this.
Our current system, while recently updated, is just bad. It’s convoluted and even with it being released in 2020 it feels dated.
Ultimately the pattern is pretty clear.
Alliance asks for something that is in our lore. Horde complains we shouldn’t have it, despite being in our lore.
Horde then asks for stuff that’s not even in their lore just to have a “gotcha” theme over the alliance.
Horde proceeds to call everyone who disagrees Helvers because that’s all they know how to process alliance requests.
Yeah , it’s such a good look. They could be a lot more creative with hair really. Though I do think they made a lot of great hairstyles since legion. Particularly for Draenei, LFD, Velves and Humans.

I mean sure, but like someone here said glowing marks and they all jumped to think people were asking for the literal nightborne marks. Like, they have so little imagination. Chill.
I think it has overlap when the options that are Highborne in question better fit the theme that NB deliver. And with Horde races being freely copied to the Alliance with the most obvious being BEs with nothing in return, NB thankfully have new unique options, that theme should be guarded, we didn’t see NB get NEs nature main theme in any form the way they stripped BEs to allow VE players RP tools with two select visual themes.
I just don’t even care, the entire pissing contest is so freaking childish.
The Draenei and LFD have won the hair war. They absolutely nailed the hair options they added for us. I’m going to sport the pixie cut so fast when 9.1.5 is released.
The issue is that the classy elves are the Nightborne not the Night Elves, Night Elves follow Priest and Druid stuff which is why even in game they get made fun of by jokes and NPC’s for being tree elves, sleeping in dens, etc.
For real, when do we actually get to start taking stuff from Night Elves for Nightborne, I mean it was supposed to be a trade of elves so where is my Night Elf customization stuff for my Nightborne?

I like that we got many braids, they look really good. Even the base options for LFD are amazing.
Draenei always got some pretty iconic hairstyles though. Wonder if the horns help with designing them.

I was really surprised with the amount of braids they gave Draenei. Like I didn’t even think about giving us braids here and there, but they did it and man did they nail it.
You can see that they are playing around the horns more and more which is great.
I’m pretty sure me saying, “This is why ARs are garbage.” Falls under me complaining about it. Like how red in the face do I need to be to get your approval of being dissatisfied with how they treated parent races?
Because my actions are my own. Me mocking folks trying to silence others from having their own frustrations or submitting their own feedback is myself posting. Not the entire blue faction. Nobody said you were, you involved yourself in a comment I made to a user about their perception that Horde and Nightborne players were out to arbitrarily invalidate their requests for “Highborne” options, when the basis for these requests was shaky at best, and at times infringing on the Nightborne’s aesthetic.
For instance, this user was lobbying for more slender Night Elves with glowing face tattoos…gee, what does that sound like? 
My favorite of the new options is Vogue.
What’s funny is that’s exactly how I had designed a LFD OC before it existed.
Lol, I actually yelled at them before because I lumped them in with the rest of them so even with as bad or as mean as you often claim to be, you clearly aren’t as mean as I am sometimes.

Sorry that you don’t’ recall my frustrations over the lack of Void Elf options that matched their theme because I reflected my frustrations rather quickly.
Did you defend me when I was being mocked for wanting Void themes added to the race after the HE ones were added? Should I hold that against you for not backing me up with being frustrated that I didn’t get what I wanted with the Void Elf race? Holding you accountable to defend my griefs would be insane and I would never hold that on someone so I’m not sure why you think I should be discredited for not being in every HE/BE thread.
I mean there isn’t any issue with sharing at least some of it with Nightborne.
The Nightborne during their story had access to the Moonguard and were even helped by a druid. I don’t honestly have any issue letting them have at least some of our options to give them some nature options if they want it.
One could definitely argue that they could make use of it even if they don’t have the exact same model stance and frame wise.
I cannot imagine that all the Moon Guard Just abandoned the Nightborne after that story… even if some did. And where did they go after? Back to their enclave or did some join the Night Elves?
Honestly that could go either way… but I don’t see why Nightborne shouldn’t get some options along those lines.
Night Elves have a priest/warrior theme, nature druid theme, and as of cata an arcane theme. In fact night elf mages come up rather a lot after that point. They’re just all in the background and Blizzard has done a horrid job of talking about their actual stories. They’re still there though.
Asking for a few minor options still in line with the Night Elf design to represent the Shen’dralar doesn’t even use the Nightborne setup…
I’m not asking for taking anything from Nightborne. In fact I’m generally resolutely against taking it from Nightborne. I want what we have with some arcane looking bents.
Yeah I cannot speak for others seeking Shen’dralar options but I’ve more or less always wanted them to be different than what the Nightborne got.
Most don’t want the Highborne options to be like Nightborne because we recognize Nightborne evolved with their own theme in Suramar.
Being against highborne because Nelves shouldn’t be “elegant” is just petty TBH.
Are we really going to pretend like it’s not selfish of you and other Alliance players to want thing after thing after thing on the blue team just because you don’t want to play the red team? I mean really get your own stuff instead of always wanting ours.
