Between my four night elf males, only two of them share a face. (they’re brothers and it fit.)
Used to have two more but deleted them for space and they also had different faces. Think they definitely have more than 1 face for male Night Elves.
I get you don’t like the scowl personally though.
Looking at the comparison here Nightborne actually look younger, regardless of the mouth thing.
The thing with Nelf faces is that only one is a “young” looking one and even that one is angry. The rest all give the same weird angry old jungle man vibe even if they are different.
And ultimately while NB were never shown to look younger, even in their OG NPCs. Nelves did have NPCs and art where they looked better, so the race’s fantasy from WC3 is not fulfilled.
Same TBH. Fem Nelves have one good face nowadays , but NB faces have a more interesting look and charm. With the eyes squinted, they are just plain hotter.
Of course al the night elven models have weird bodies.

Old Gods don’t remind me about not fulfilling the WCIII fantasy for Night Elves.
Don’t remind me about the eyes T.T night elves used to have narrow eyes before, but blizzard “forgot” that, and only gave nightborne the right eyes u.u

Yeah, in general more than the scold is just, IDK they need options to be more handsome. As someone else has said, other than Thalasians and maybe the new Asian human faces. There’s no males that actually appeal to the female gaze which sucks.
If they were the WC3 race…now that’s a dream race.

And funnily enough Blood elves and Draenei had them too in the old models. (And Asian humans should obviously have them)
All in all it perhaps should be applied to other races, maybe in a different shape but still. With Nightborne getting eye colours in return. (Which TBH they should have anyway)

No, that´s people desperate to get AT LEAST something new apart from 3 beard options and 2 eye colors.
Male Belves literally only got this… and no, 3 eye options that are literally the same shade with a minuscule iris differentiation do NOT work as far as actual uniqueness is involved (would you guys know, you have basically the same real 4 eye options as us wih silver, gold, purple and night warrior -this last one truly unique among ALL the races on the game).
Dude, if Velves got skins fixed at the same time as Belves cause “efficiency”, the snarl may get fixed with Nelves NOW.
We just need to make a bigger point about that to Blizz devs -same facial geometry ergo same fix should work for both-
NB female face options are polluted by laugh lines and eye bags, you know… the actual irl parameters that denote ageing as far as skin is concerned.
You fix the scowl in face No. 1 for Nelf and it literally looks younger than the same NB face -cause again: what makes a toon look “old” IS the lines in the face, and NB have quite the strong lines on the face geometry.
There are literally children runing rampant on Suramar… meanwhile point to me one Nelf children NPC.

However you know what I mean by that. Is not about age, obviously there’s young NB. But the general looks of the race.
I’m not saying NB don’t deserve more faces (every race does) but at least NB can copy the feel they always had since their inception. Nelves can’t fulfill a lot of the official art and stuff they had been presented with.
I beg to differ. The female Nightborne are closer to encapsulating the Nightborne as they were presented in Legion, but the male Nightborne is still a long way off, with neither of them being particularly remarkable in their appearance.
Most of the options made available to the playable Nightborne pale in comparison to the NPC versions, like the recent addition of the underwhelming “luminous hands” option in 9.1.5, or even hairstyles. When NPCs have better hair appearances and physics than the playable model, something is majorly wrong.
Cutscene model of Thalyssra without a single wrinkle. This should’ve been the basis for the female Nightborne, especially considering that this model was never used again, and Thalyssra currently uses an NPC Nightborne appearance in cutscenes as recent as Battle for Azeroth.
There are no major male Nightborne characters featured in a cutscene besides Melandrus in this video, but even from the partial view of his face that you see, he isn’t nearly as wrinkly around the mouth as the playable male Nightborne.
The playable NPCs don´t have the ridiculously over the top facial lines.
The crooked nose inherited from the Nelf male model just was the cherry on top.
I´d kill for a tabard that follows the same appearance AND physics as Lor´themar´s coat now that you mention this issue.
Also… NB got scamed from their fangs as we can see from the video. Heck, ALL the elf races should get the fangs considering all are but semi distant cousins from each other… common troll ancestor and all.
I know is soon to ask for customizations for core races, but Tyrande night warrior markings should be a customization option for night elves.
Kaldorei are the children of the stars, they should have star themed tattoos, hair and skin too xD

I still just want the red eyes unlocked for Belf player characters so my eyes could match my rage. I really don’t care if it means someone makes a corrupted Paladin to RP or whatever minor thing. It’s really none of my business what other people do with their characters.
God her Night Warrior look was absolutely wicked here.

Technically speaking they got only one feature: A toggle for the tentacles. The rest has been already established and isn’t really now while being an update for the Void Elves.
I’m sure the players will rather get High Elf/Blood Elf hair styles in the future.
The male Night Elves need a complete body rework, otherwise the race is fine.
Honestly her stuff is so good and with how the story ended I doubt we’ll see her use it much anymore.
We should get a lot of it. Now THAT would give nelves a glow up.
