You can’t really see it here https://imgur.com/a/z0bwe9K, but Arthas, using a human model, actually looks young and pretty handsome - the way I’d imagine most humans we play as should look. I really hope Blizzard does something like that for our next human customization pass

Yeah someone else who hates Vulpera and constantly harassed their community relies on stirring up trouble through alt hopping and I’m 99% positive they did it with a Classic alt too. So many issues would be solved if there was a list or something of people’s alts that have posted on the forums and/or ignore applied to all and/or you can’t like your own stuff or reply to your own threads.
Agreed entirely. That was a horrid idea. I would suggest battletag but then people could spam friend requests to be toxic. Maybe a separate forum-only battletag.

It’s not the best, but I’d still happily play a human that is actually genuinely objectively handsome, even if it meant playing a human built like a gorilla. It also kind of suits him though, in a way? He’s supposed to be super strong and fit, and I think the human build reflects that sort of decently.

Granted, I’ve no idea if this will translate to the forums as well. You can only hope though.

They could even just keep it mostly the same, but just have it open so like if you look at someone’s activity it show all the posts they’ve made on whatever characters, don’t need to use the actual id, just link it all together so it’s treated as one account

Depressing, right? When the issues of the core race get “ignored” while you see the AR get the love in the exact way people asked for.
As someone who already walked that path you´re barely beginning to walk on: it gets better with time. Flood the forums with the male Nelf face issues to show Blizzard this IS something actually VERY important for you guys (so hopefully you get the Velf January treatment too and jump on the “fix the male perma scowl” train right now; after all if the fix works on the NB model it should work on the Nelf model too).

Meh, he loves to claim about “muh goth elves”, when by portrayal those are Emos. The true hardcore Goth race in this game are the Forsaken proper… and Dark Rangers (a.k.a. undead elves) ARE Forsaken.
She remembers complaining over NOT getting the Belf fanbase list of petitions taken into account in the core pass while some Helfers trolled us with “but you got jEwErLy that´s PERFECT for your Barbie!!!” and “this happened because you didn´t ask loud enough and wasted time complaining over Velf stuff!!!” arguments.
Well, guess what´s happening right now? I´d advice to follow the previous strat that worked wonders for the Helfers: worry less over the stuff the NB get and increase the petition rate on the Nelf issues pending to be fixed, period.
I literally demostrated by proxy of an exercise with Nico that most male NB toons are CLONES of each other as of right now… both our rogues are basically identical twins but for the hair color ffs.
Ideally, one should compare the standards between the core elf races and the AR elf races.
You guys can´t continue to pretend to compare Velves to Belves anb NB simultaneously while the Horde races are compared to… nothing?
If we compare the Nelves to the Belves in everything including uniqueness… the Belves got a massive and clear loss there, sorry not sorry that´s a fact. Not only did they got less stuff BUT the stuff they got certainly doesn´t help the uniqueness nor much less the identity issues.
Velves lose to THIS last iteration of the NB pass but only in the number of asets; they still win in the “uniqueness department” -sorry NOT sorry, the Velves are the ONLY elf race in game that can be used to RP not one but TWO elf groups with opposing aesthetics, period. NB can only be used to RP their ubber arcane dependant mage flavor.

I DO understand and know how the Nelf players feel right now -those were the very same sentiments I had backin january when instead of the rune markings from the TBC gamebox the Belves got gaudy jewerly (and literally dodged the bullet with the lingerie jewerly) while the Velves got 3 new eye colors and the same skins the Belves used to have exclusively.
It is NOT a good feeling, but sadly with Blizzard complains of the “WTF U doing!?!” category get pretty much ignored. Asking incessantly delivers better results, and this update just only proves this theory is correct more and more.
I literally did it in this very same thread AND even on the Belf thread like one or two weeks ago… and back then NONE of the Alliance players that came TODAY to point the issue cared, upvoted nor even bothered with a comment.
Soem may take it as a lesson: if the issues ARE issues, then point to them first and foremost.
Excuse me,but this is EXACTLY what we antis were asking for… you can thank the Helfers that demanded incessantly to get to look like a cloned Belf for the lack of Void unique customizations in the two mini passes you guys have gotten. If anything, point to Blizz how important this is, or they will once again hijack your race to get more Vanilla Helfer stuff that frankly should be posted in BOTH Velves and Belves like the feathers and the Warpaint.
San´layn WERE Horde in BfA, dude. If anything, we COMPLAINED about the devs keeping that fascinating fact OUT of our gameplay.
The issue with the Sethrak is about the place they live. I´m tired of getting the villain bat just because Blizz loves to exploit the "races affiliated to each faction are neighborns and because we “need war on warcraft”, they enter into military conflict and the Alliance side -usually located as a minority right around the corner of a BIG Horde capitol- gets kicked down and out while being portrayed as useless victims whose Human overlords not even rescue properly while the Hordies become Skeletor lite.
You guys can get Sethrak if Blizz finds a way for them to get a new home BEFORE they join your faction. Right next to the Zandalari Capitol is a can of worms just desperately asking to be opened.

I mean, I’ve been depressed due to Lightforged being the better Draenei since they released so this isn’t new to me.
This has been my issue with ARs day one in general and I knew it was going to happen.

Being in a clique that’s dedicated to harassing an entire subrace, that now actually exists, or swapping to an alt to post about Night Elf issues on a Night Elf avatar as an Alliance main forced to play Horde.
These people are truly paranoid beyond belief.

I’m a troll, apparently, for actually having eyeballs and a basic understanding of world-building, and empathy for a race I don’t even play. Also a troll for just repeating the exact same behaviours presented to me over the last 4 years.
It’s a really great addition to the game! I’m really happy about it. Sadly I don’t think it’ll transfer to the forums but I’d love to be wrong.
I’ve gone further and posted my discord. People could super easily know my Twitter and know how I look from that San’layn video. Where I also have my website in other videos. Is it ideal? No. I’ve come to accept it though and am no nonsense. I freely block on socials. Probably a good idea to not give that info out tbh. I have a decent following so if someone harassed me outside of here truly, I could make people aware at least. But since I’m an author who shows her face intentionally to be more personable in those places, there’s always that fear.

I just decided to stop boosting the Helfer threads -frankly our traffic is probably what carried them to “victory” -the hilarious part is, while most of them indeed are happy and stopped with the “if you give a mouse a cookie” syndrome, a few apparently didn´t get the memo and NOW they complain they got hand-me-downs (when I LITERALLY saw them upvote the thread literally using the words “the same as the Belves”) /facepalm

Somebody is about to be horribly disappointed when they realize that x amount of people disagreeing with them isn’t actually the same person, nor actually trolling. (The same people, for literally hours every single day, for years now? Yeah, that’s different.)
But hey, link people disagreeing with you and wanting a race on another faction in your discord more asking for backup. At least that’s technically not organized harassment.
Yep you’re right entirely. It’s why I don’t bother arguing. They’re in the major minority including among their own community because their argument is incredibly hypocritical. Plus I’m pretty sure there’s a large number of non Horde who also want San’layn playable who understand they don’t make any sense on the alliance. Besides, there’s many other races the alliance could get aside from undead elves that belong on the Horde if blizzard is going to be so steadfast with faction barrier.

I believe it has been already stated that being cut off from the Well of Eternity is what caused the High Elves to shrink in stature and lose their purple skin. Blizzard could of course change this if they wish, though.
We actually found out what was beneath Tirisfal Glades in Legion, and it was indeed Old God related: the remains of Zakajz the Corruptor, a massive C’Thrax general, and the remains of the Titan Keeper Tyr. Zakajz was dead though when the Elves were briefly settled in Tirisfal, and they didn’t live there very long, so I’m skeptical that Zakajz could have left any long-lasting influence on their biology. It is an interesting idea, though.

I don’t really agree with this, because the Shal’dorei changed substantially in their appearance over the last ten thousand years thanks to the Nightwell. They’re still tall and purple, unlike the Thalassians, but they really shouldn’t resemble the Kaldorei too closely. We know what Thalyssra looked like prior to Suramar’s shield going up, her appearance changed quite a bit over time as a result.
