I think you are overthinking it, I more or less figured it would be just a share from Night Elves to Nightborne like from Blood Elves to Void Elves. Lol.
Oh man, if we could have onyx Lightforged I would never look at Zandalari/Blood Elf paladins again. That’s so beautiful.
It does sort of feel they’re lagging a bit behind Nightborne right now. Maybe this is something we could add in too?

I’d totally rock an Alliance crest on my velf warrior once I can go back Alliance. Especially if I could have it on not just my arm, but rather, on my chest or even along the spine for the plate-kinis. (…yeah, I’m a bit trashy.)
Sadly, stuck as a zug until the end of the season chasing a mount I’ll likely never get.

Yeah, the Draenei jewelry is great, but I really want to see more. When you look at the icons of the amulets, you can’t help but want some of those designs.
