I really do not condone this behavior. However, I truly question if he has learned anything from it. Is it really worth antagonizing people again just because of a stupid game? No. Then why are he is doing it?

What was done to Lann was against the CoC and in many places in the US is actually an illegal action.

It does not matter what side of a debate you are on. Doing something knowingly wrong is a bad thing.

Nothing about Pixelated Elves is important enough for you to be giving the people who have done these things a pass.

Having differing opinions is one thing but actual dangerous actions against a person is a wholly different thing.

It would be infinitely better if folk would stop trying to cause a ruckus. I’ve seen many trying to do so since well before Lann came back and your little decision here was a poor one to blame Lann for the actions of another.

I like anyone else get along with some people better than others but I don’t and I won’t ever feel like actually harassing someone for a difference in opinion is okay because it’s not, you can disagree and you can argue but actual harassment is way too far and taking it to real life makes it even worse because this is just a game and we are all pixels.

As for your question of when will it stop, more than likely never, people are always going to disagree with one another, want different things, have differences in opinions, etc. it’s something that people either need to be able to accept especially in a very public place such as the WoW public forums or step away.

Folks, if you utterly hate someone to the point of it bothering you enough to consider harassing them outside of this place, put them on ignore here. I don’t know why people are now trying to justify actual harassment, but here we are. And people wonder why the WoW community is in a very bad state.

This goes toward those who love or hate anything in the game. We’re going to disagree. I disagree all the time. But if it leads to an escalation and justification like that…just…put the people you hate on ignore like I do, and continue to give suggestions/try to enhance the game and argue with logic. This isn’t me forum policing me, it’s common sense.

That’s literally assertive language. And the game literally had new elves interested since velves were implemented.
Trying to read it as something else is just, wishful thinking on your part.

At this point I just want them to show new void elves actually being made. Show us the process and that the result comes out with either Blueberries, high elf looking folk, and a mix. So that everything is obviously canon to full fledged Void Elves.

Troll beards. Full beards for blood elves. Undead beards. Beardless dwarves. (I’m joking, no one throw rocks at me please).

Tattoos for belves. Heck tattoos or warpaint for all. Don’t gender lock tattoos, jewelry, or anything. Braided styles for belves, pleassse! Freckles, scars, beauty marks, etc, that aren’t locked to specific faces.

Nightborne ear options. Better faces for nightborne women. Give eye size options to every race.

Well, my point is more that there doesn’t seem to be a sizable enough settlement of High Elves anywhere to demonstrate an interest in Fel, in a location where such studies are permissible. I keep going back to Dalaran because it is the largest settlement with a sizable population of High Elves and magical resources.

I agree with this.

But I do want to say the very nature of warlock (and I think I mentioned this somewhere above earlier) is that of a caster who is generally going against the grain of societies. They’re in it generally for themselves and using Fel is a way to power considered taboo by most.

I kinda think Warlock could work for every race as a result.

But I do agree the High Elves as a whole don’t have a place where they would study warlock magic most like.

Dark Rangers are part of the forsaken faction. As they are a class.

They’re more than one class. There are some rogues and wardens among their number and lorewise they’re actually just dead elves who reclaimed their bodies. Otherwise they’d be banshees (or wisps) cause thats what elf ghosts tend to become.

Not to my knowledge actually. I did look around to make sure as that would violate the CoC which the LoQ discord abides. (and I wanted to head off any further drama there and otherwise… ) Generally speaking the LoQ does not bring up the forums and does a fairly good job policing such things.

I would like to point out that some Blood Elf “Rangers” are actually Rogues and Warriors.

It’s more of a Rank then a class.

Thank you Drede. That is an excellent observation as well. I keep switching it to Hunter but yeah among elves ranger is a grouping of classes.

-undead blood elf themes
-Curly hair for all races
-Longer hair for all genders
-height differential for wildhammer dwarves
-giblin skins for goblins, more damaged looking faces (ie soot covered face, missing teeth)
-More fur patterns for all anthro races, hair
-tails for worgen
-albino option
-Horde and Alliance exclusive Pandaren patterns

Agreed! More options would be great, but I’m grateful for the new stuff!

I’d like to see a few more skin tones in the brown range, even if it has to be somewhat desaturated to look cohesive with the overall Nightborne palette. And yea a broader range of hair colors would be welcome.

Still, overall I am pleased with how my Nightborne are going to look come 9.1.5!

If any race deserves customization attention after the next update it’s the Kul’Tiran male. I tried to make one the other day and it was the most pathetic customization options I’ve seen. I’d say they deserve the first look out of everyone.

I do hope to see some nice things for them in the next few patches.
