Why so much hate over high elf options

Lol no issue. Yea, and I got the same impression. They were almost feral in WC3.

A bit off topic, but I think that’s what draws me in to both the void elves and the blood elves. I like that WoW doesn’t (necessarily) stand with just the standard Tolkien interpretations of fantasy races.

I like that Orcs (can be when written well) this grand, honorable, warrior race and the Wildhammer Dwarves that take to the skies and act more like fierce vikings than traditional dwarves.

I think the forsaken is being its best when it’s walking the line between pragmatism and trying to regain their humanity.

Tolkien is over done. I’m so into things that use the traditional flavors but then add in some really interesting spice.

Wildhammer dwarves. My roommate loves them. I mean, he’s a dwarf fan regardless, but a Viking dwarf blaring “Hall of the Mountain King” through an enchanted music stone while riding a griffin, and chucking lightning hammers. I’m so into that.

The overly Human based thing on Alliance everywhere is why I could never main that side it’s way too Human this and Human that and all the other races get overshadowed because of that.

I do think its good that the alliance got a race that doesn’t fit their stereotype

Or at least they did have for all of 5 seconds until they made umbric say something like “actually none of us liked the horde and always believed in the alliance and their core values”

That kinda damaged void elves a lot for me
Cant help but feel it was an attempt to pander to high elf fans
But they failed, instead they just took away their edgeyness

See that might of made me like Night Elves more if they were like that vs how they are now because right now I just think go back to your tree but then I remember we burned it down so then I feel mean. Haha.

edgy …this is too edgy

I think really they could show each of the races a bit more, but everything has been pushed towards kind of a human standard on the Alliance side. I like humans just fine, but we could use a bit more variety.

Lol, as someone with horde toons, I do feel bad about that. Though you’re right. I do like the Night Elves, and the Worgen too, when they are walking that line between wild and civilized.

I’m just going to shout “Treachery” whenever greeting people.

I only wish they had their own racials and such. They’d be better as an AR. T_T

They’re my favorite clan.

I get that. I do wish Blizzard would focus more on the individual races again.

Yeah when they added that questline at the end of last xpac and I did it then it was like bam cinematic which I always watch them first time through I was like oh my gosh that was horrible but I couldn’t undo it.

Alliance sorely needs it, they barely give anyone that’s not a Human any screen time these days and it’s like okay we get it you are pushing Humans but there’s way more races in Alliance besides Human.

That we can agree on for sure!

There are so many now that the development time would be immense. I think that’s why you see more of a, “Here’s the MAIN Void Elf character running around. That counts as Void Elves right?” etc.

I have to say though, it was kind of hard to notice when it went off before but Entropic Embrace looks KILLER with the blood elf skintones, especially when the effect fades away.

Yes. This is the direction they should go. Build their world less random disposable systems.

Nightborne have a really nice pale blonde hair color. I think some of the nelf colors but more faded, to varying degrees, would be pretty awesome.

That would be nice.

Also I was just looking at Malfurions hair and I want that as an option.

I’d definitely be down for porting some Night Elf options over to Nightborne. Some gold eyes as well as blue and violet would most definitely be welcome. I’d also like to see hairstyles, colors and skin tones ported over as well, namely anything in the violet/blue/white and black colors for hair and blues and violets for skin tones. Some of the finer styles Nightborne have could be ported back for a Highborne appearance for Night Elves.

A model toggle for Forsaken using fresh undead(human model) would also be great.
