…what would be the point of playing undead
Some would find it fun to be like nathanos…
Why do you or anyone find it fun now?
Personally I like the lore.
velfs have so many skin color options now, that i’m not sure we will get anything else. could be the extent of our customizations.
Because people pushing for customizations to be in line with more conventionally attractive aesthetics is getting weird. Forsaken already have meaty options for newly risen dead. Going through the ordeal of being raised to undeath and the only change being a palette swap… Is incredibly cheap from my pov.
But I’m not going to say you shouldn’t ask for what you want. I’m… very frustrated tbh and I should probably find more like minded people to talk with this about.
This is the answer right here. Sylvanas should have purged the entire realm of them.
I’d personally like for Forsaken to get a few opinions for models. The whole point of them is that they represent a fairly disparate group of undead.
Relatively fresh humans ala Derrick make sense.
They are all Blood Elf/High Elf eye colors so yes we should have had blue, green and golden eye choices from the get go.
but the tbc devs were pushing the fel narrative so belfs would fit better on horde, et. al, edgier. took awhile to get gold and finally blue. now alliance is getting edgy elves too
Alliance has had edgy elves since they got Void Elves and Demon Hunter on Night Elves, lol.
I mean, I remember WC3. Night Elves themselves USE to be pretty edgy.
i know. just saying, they didnt want traditional elves in their game thus why night elves were called a mix of dark elf and wood elf. now you can play a traditional elf while being on the edgier faction.
You define Alliance as the edgier faction? You must elaborate. Haha.
no alliance still doesnt have a traditional elf. we still have tentacled elves that shapeshift into entropic form without a choice.
I guess you could say that they are a Kul Tiran WITH A TWIST.
Sorry dearie I didn’t see you had replied but I find it weird they went from being edgy in Warcraft 3 to being hippies when added to the actual WoW game. Lol.
Blood elves aren’t the most traditional elves going but they do fit the bill more than void elves
precisely.
I wouldn’t say that makes Alliance the more edgy faction but thanks for the explanation at least so I could see where you was coming from.
That’s valid.
I was only suggesting it as a possible swap option to someone else’s grievance.
And I think it’s cool.
Lorewise, gold wouldn’t have come up till sometime after the end of TBC.
And arcane blue wouldn’t as well. At least not among the majority.
But I do think they should have gotten that option much sooner.
I know right…
We should be much more… Fierce? Feral?
alliance isnt the edgier faction. horde is. alliance is a more traditional fantasy faction but our elves are not traditional. our humans, dwarves and gnomes are, though.
