Why so much hate over high elf options

oooo, ooo, I know. Because it’s been in the game for years and people are just upset it was on the wrong side.

I keep being misrepresented lately too, and angry is one thats come up lmao, I think it’s clear what posters seem angry anyways.

That’s quite the take there.

True. It wouldn’t hurt to just give them the race they want would it? I don’t really care either way. There’s enough races for me.

Part of the villainous group that actively rages war on your faction.

They essentially moved up the ladder, as a bigger foil to blood elves.

You don’t get to cry for unplayable high elves as a crutch to hold your story together, it works the same if the group is on the opposite faction.

Alliance and Horde feed off each others stories and when they don’t, they don’t, and it doesn’t matter whos in what.

They would of had the initiative to make said request themselves, rather than wait for the last possible second when they feared their aesthetic to be at risk.

It’s entirely based on the presence of want, if they wanted it, they would of asked for it, despite similar requests, they’re mutually exclusive and can co-exist, contrary to your toxic and pathetic attempts at slander, high elf fans did not outright “eat” void customization request if they existed back then, they were simply more adamant about them, that doesn’t “ruin” anyone’s chances, that shows what communities want, your defense of the little guy is adorable, but this is simply how things like requests work.

I’m not going to shift the rails on a runaway train to save 1 person when the other option is killing 5 others. Simple majority is logical as much as that irks you in this scenario of popularity.

Who says they don’t count?

They count as much as any request, we’re all equal, what counts is numbers, there’s a larger market for High elf customization than void customization for void elves, especially back then.

We’re also completely entitled to ask about playable races we’d like to see that coincide with canon in-game lore, you can keep crying in the corner about it, as the spite oozes through your keyboard. :joy:

For real, the struggle is real, that’s why earlier I couldn’t even read through this whole thread and then I finally did and started replying more. Lol.

Void elves didn’t need regular skin tons to begin with but honestly they shouldn’t have been added to the game at all since if you give the Alliance High Elf crowd an inch they’ll take a mile.

Over nine thousand miles.

Especially since before Void Elves got the new skintones their theme was Void so no one was looking for them to have human skin tone diversity options in the way they would human skintoned races. It’s an odd take and I’m hesitant to see what that even means or the logic behind that.

Without them we can’t have wet t shirt contests.

I mean, I feel like thalassian elves being added to the game was blizz’s biggest mistake ever. But that’s a personal take.

If Void Elves are made from Blood Elves and Blood Elves can be dark-skinned all of a sudden, then so can Void Elves. And if Void Elves get to be dark-skinned, then of course they can have regular Thalassian skin at that point. That’s clearly what happened. The devs hate the Alliance too much to give us our own race without some kind of silly corporate logic.

No they moved off the ladder and have gained story immortality by being tied to a playable race.

People don’t come to the forums unless they’re upset generally. Or bored and need a constantly moving source of stuff to read. Void Elves were new and so people most likely figured they’d stay where they were. And were probably content with what they had at the time. So no motivation to make a thread, even if they had things they’d have wanted since Blizz made it sound like no AR stuff was going to be added. And then the skin tones were added, people like you are trying to basically turn them into high elves and also now there’s a chance to get something, so they show up to ask now that there’s more reason. It’s pretty simple really.

It still bugs me that they didn’t get more Void based skintones like that glow, I would love to have that full time on my Void Elf alts.

There was a simple solution, give the Alliance High Elves. Everything would have been fine, and also humans are what took most of the customization time.

If your theory were to be correct, they’d be adding it to all the fantasy skin toned races, wouldn’t they? I mean, there’s no human colored Night Elves or Space Goats, are there?

When is the Horde getting an entire Alliance race to itself anyway?

Even simpler solution would have been to stick with the whole fact that blood elves are high elves.

Man’ari would be cool :sunglasses:
