The stories I’ve heard from teachers these days… It’s a wonder the kids are allowed in public. That said the kids have parents who are probably overworked and under paid and probably struggling with mental health so, who knows where the blame truly lies.

Sweeping generalization
Flags don’t mean anything on their own. Some people do flag posts for no reason, but if it’s unwarranted, the mods will leave it be.
Sometimes they’ll leave it be even if it is warranted.
that’s the truth. this is why the popular vote is always democrat but the electoral college isnt.

You cant say “always.” The conservatives had the popular vote in 2004, 1988, 1984, 1980, 1972, and 1968.
Of course, there’s more before that too…but that’s around the time of the change so it gets a bit more complicated

Do people really know what constitutes as left or right leaning? I think most people just pick a figurehead or person they like and just choose that side and stick with it until something changes their minds. I’m not what you would call an educated voter, or voter at all which just leaves me uneducated BUT… I couldn’t tell you any issues that either side has an actual plan on to be progressive or conservative anymore. I would like to think a lot of people are actually in the middle but are lead to believe that’s not allowed and you must be a single party voter.
It would be nice if there was just a giant bulletin list describing each current issue and what the plan is for each side.

I’m not from your country and i’m not the only one, my sweeping generalization still stand in this context.
I think it does come down to politics in a lot of cases but I think there should be a separation for “politics” in regards of government. That is the point of no return. In a general sense what does left or right leaning even mean, isn’t it just a label to vastly generalize or undermine. Left or right has no real merit on its own
You have to also look at what policies were apart of which party back then
They may have been under the republican party, but back in some of those years the republican party was the more liberal side
For the most part, humans are left leaning
and thats why we see WoW forums, Reddit, etc become an echo chamber
same with twitter
I think people flag for political reasons (sometimes.) I don’t think either side is worse than the other.
I’ve been flagged plenty of times, and I’m pretty squarely left.
