Tauren Rogues would have indeed been the ideal rogues for the job. So hard are they to track down, they could have done the assasination job right in front of Saurfang. Not only would Saurfang not know Thrall had been killed, but they would never have found the body.

Because people are unoriginal. Blood elves are the most boring race in game, and predictable.

I played horde in vanilla, amazing community. In TBC, I saw that community dwindle away. There was a direct correlation between how many blood elves rolled and how bad the community got. I donā€™t count paladins because back then only BE could be paladins.

But to answer your question, because people are unoriginal.

Because when many of these rogues were created their racial was a point blank AoE silence. Do you have any idea badly that screws casters? It was your insurance card to guarantee that they could never, ever cast.

Now itā€™s a purge, which is meh, but people arenā€™t going to shell out for a race change for a game they arenā€™t playing as much as they used to.

People play the race they want to play even if itā€™s a tiny bit less optimal than some race they donā€™t want to play. Imagine that!

I never did like the addition of a ā€œprettyā€ race to the gnarled, gritty and primal Horde races. I just didnā€™t think it was necessary ā€“ if you wanted a pretty race, you played Alliance.

That said, yes, Goblins are hands-down the best Rogue race. Weā€™re sneaky in size, weā€™re obsessed with money, and our stealth animation looks like a cartoon villain.

The answer is always, because people want to play them
My question to you is, why do you care what other people play, it doesnā€™t affect your own ability to choose whatever you want.

alliance wise there are a few that actually look good in mog. Iron dwarfs, new humans in their on mog and gnomes.
