i really wanted a male goblin rogue until i got to level 5 or whatever it was and then i deleted him. same thing happened when i made belf rogues. 
Goblins are the best rogues. There is no counter argument.

The only thing I like about the belf stealth animations is that they look nice on disc/carpet mounts
I like both. My goblin warrior was my main from Cata through WoD. But I have a mega-butt ton of belves too.

And that was Slyvanas mistake. She tried to have Undead Rogues assassinate Thrall. You know Goblin Rogues would have pulled it off

Anyway, blood elves look good and the other races don’t. Forsaken used to be awesome before the model update.

I have a Goblin rogue. It went from Male goblin >male blelf>female blelf>female pandaren>>>>>male goblin
the reason I went to blelf: transmog. It just looks so good. And this was during WoD, so back when Blelves were extra pretty.
Then I went to female blelf because their stealth animation is AMAZING, they crouch when you stand and the move is cool.
Then I went pandaren because I started playing Combat more, and the female blood elf stealth butt waggle was too much for me. Also it started bothering me how skinny she was. (and female pandaren have the best melee animations. Also they sneak like ninjas)
I went back to goblin rogue to embrace the inner dirtbag. Sometimes you just have to play a stereotype.

In addition to just being popular anyway blood elves are the default Alliance shipjumper race (and have been since TBC). The result is a gaggle of elves running around.

Male goblins look really neat. There’s a reason WHY blizzard made rogue the default class when you click on goblins on the create a new character screen.
Similar to:
Orcs Warriors
Tauren Shaman
Undead Warlock
Blood Elf Mage
Etc
The question is why not? 
We look awesome in all forms of armor including leather,plus who better to be a rogue than the race notorious for agility and grace?

Way, way, way back when, Wrath or so, I created my first rogue. And why… everyone was saying how fun they were, and picking locks and pockets sounded cool to me.
As someone who liked the look of the female blood elves back then I obviously had to make a BE Rogue. And she did look neat in a lot of Cata/MoP gear. At that time, she was on Sen’jin and was named Vesperia. I had to lose her because I’m a poor smuck and could afford the server transfer during MoP, when I created this chara. And yes i do like their stealth animation. Far more than the human, Worgan, and NE ones.
Why do people pick the best and beautiful looking race i wonder

I tried to make a female blood elf rogue along time ago but how they crouch every time you stop moving in stealth annoyed me so I deleted her after twenty levels.
I still say gnomes and goblins are the best rogues.

When disarmed, a belf rogue can rip their own ears off and kill their target with ear-knives before they bleed out.
