This is the time bomb that nobody can see coming. This is how the expansion will end. Blizzard has already planned the story. Sylvanas ordered/condoned the Wrathgate attack, meaning she is directly responsible for the death of Saurfang’s son.

I wonder what he’s gonna do when he finds out?

He’s gonna want her head on a pike, Anduin will help, and we’ll have a relations reset ready for the next expac. This is how it’s supposed to work. This is why we’ve had 2 Saurfang cinematics focusing on his grief. What blizzard didn’t plan was how sickly loyal the Sylvanas fanbase was.

Back in January a made a thread asking if the Alliance would forgive the Horde . Most of the responses to the question were against forgiving the Horde; often in favor of killing, dismantling, imprisoning, or putting us in some sort of probation depending on our race and involvement in the war. There were others who weren’t even in favor of forgiving the Horde back in MoP after the Garrosh debacle. Certainly there are in-lore Alliance characters who share the same sentiment.

What does this mean? It means that if you side with Saurfang, you’re at best really pushing your luck with the Alliance forgiving the Horde a second time, and at worst you’re inadvertently aiding the extermination of your own faction. You may not like Sylvanas or her methods, but keeping the Horde together is better than inciting a civil war in the middle of an actual war. There is no doubt that even if Saurfang’s rebellion succeeds, we’ll stand zero chance against the Alliance forces in the aftermath. We’ll be too weak from in-fighting. The Alliance can simply do whatever they want with the scraps left of the Horde. Saurfang may very well be the Alliance’s best (unaware) ally in this war.

Its been pretty clear from the beginning that the Alliance and SI:7 are using Saurfang as a weapon to weaken the Horde and he’s just too dumb to realize it.

With her, we know to one get out her way and two do not get on the bad side and three avoid anything involving her blight program. On the other hand, we have no clue what he or when he does it. It might be an axe in the back or suicidal charge among many possibilities.

I do Genn went after her and made her realize there can never be peace as long he and his friend around. It funny how regularly most players forget he assailed her when she still under the assertion of the peace treaty. Remember at the battle in begin of legion he did not trust the alliance and always predict their betrayal.

I guess if you twist it and take it so far out lexicon. That anything will fit. Just have to spin it right. So far you doing a horrendous job.

BTW my teacher taught me new English words. Hope i got it right.

I think the people of the Alliance blame Sylvanas personally for Telladrasil. They see in Saurfang an honorable enemy, held in respect, much as Thrall was. They see Sylvanas as a wicked undead witch basically.

As for my Horde Orc Alt, she will follow the law of the Horde, but secretly she wants Saurfang as a War Chief.

I’m not sure what Silvermoon has to do with this. Because the Warchief is an undead High elf and thus, creating connections that aren’t there?
The last time an elf was even seen in anything, was the battle for Lordaeron and it was only Theron.
We are basically the Gnomes of the Alliance. Never shown to do anything.

Org, I get. That is the seat of the Horde and it’s Warchief but it just seems like you are picking Silvermoon out of resentment.
Burning down Silvermoon, home of the High elves, isn’t going to get them for you faster or have any effect on story/lore that’s already been written. Too bad.
