Why SHOULD the Alliance have faction pride?

In what universe? Because you surely are not talking about this one. Even the shamelessly Horde biased developers begrudgingly admitted such.

It is not up to the paying customer to fix a problem a multi-billion dollar corporation has let fester for the best part of a decade.

I think you will find total populations are fairly close. The problem lies in active PvPers and high end raiders. The issue started eight or so years ago when Blizzard set the Horde racials to “overpowered” then broke the damn knob off. While this edge wasn’t massive, it did prompt the top end players of each field to go Horde, looking for that extra advantage. Then the players in a tier below them saw all the people they are aspiring to be are going Horde and many did the same. Rinse and repeat.

As a result, you have a slow bleed of high end players trickling over to the Horde. Again, this has been the product of eight or so years but Blizzard did nothing in that time to address to skill drain. If anything, they seem to be actively encouraging it with consistent jabs at their paying Alliance customer base (honestly, if I tried half of what Blizzard seems to get away with with my clients, I’d be out of a job by day’s end.), shallow story-writing that paints the Alliance leadership is bewilderingly incompetent despite any sort of background or experience and overall narrative that nearly always have the Alliance as some a background set piece to some massive Horde story arc.

Look at words remedy. It means they have taken care of them. i read interview also. Last time Nerf came to horde was in legion. So this next round is to make sure none are viable on horde side. It been a long time sense then and alliance still have not recruited anyone.

lol.

what?

He said “largely remedied” which means the horde racials are still OP, which is why he mentioned nerfing berserking and arcane torrent.

Why should the voice of Green Jesus give a crap about the failing faction?

Alliance have always been immature and dominated by children, since pretbc it had been this way.

Don’t like it? Reroll.

I am a little tired of being the reactionary Faction, to be honest.

None of this happened around “the middle of WOD” like you originally claimed.

And even if they have finally been properly addressed (which I am sure most would agree that is far from the case), a few snap fixes are not going to magically undo 8+ years of neglect and poor management.

You chose the correct race. Move on.

Im looking but patch 6.2.2 a have been removed . It was during that patch. soon as i find it. they i will prove it.

BTW some need to look up some words.
Largely mean to a great extent; on the whole; mostly.
remedy means done already.

The fact you think somehow rerolling to Horde somehow magically makes one suddenly more adult and mature does is amusing to say the least.

We understand English. The man said that horde racials are still somewhat OP, so they still have to nerf berserking and arcane torrent.

First of all, Dark Iron Dwarf racials are not very good. Fireblood is the only one that matters at all, is mostly PVP-centric, and gives the most benefit when you are outnumbered/focus fired and pretty much guaranteed to die.

The argument that DID racials are OP seems to come from a PTR build where it was a lot better. The racial you are claiming is overpowered never actually made it to live. Stop perpetuating this BS.

Second, arguing that you can easily be a big fish in a small pond is stupid. No one cares about the top 200. Most people barely care about the top 1. Without looking it up, name the world second and third Mythic raid clears. You can’t, can you?

still looking for missing ones. Im being fair here. So found this. You will see some buffs and some Nerf for everyone.

We decided to bring down the couple high outliers, then establish a fair baseline and bring everyone else up to that. We achieved that by improving old passives, replacing obsolete ones, and occasionally adding new ones where needed. Our goal with these changes is to reach parity amongst races.
Blood Elf
Arcane Acuity is a new racial passive ability that increases Critical Strike chance by 1%.
Arcane Torrent now restores 20 Runic Power for Death Knights (up from 15 Runic Power), 1 Holy Power for Paladins, or 3% of mana for Mages, Priests, and Warlocks (up from 2% of Mana]). Other parts of the ability remain unchanged.
Draenei
Gift of the Naaru now heals for the same amount over 5 seconds (down from 15 seconds).
Heroic Presence has been redesigned. It no longer increases Hit by 1%, and instead increases Strength, Agility, and Intellect, scaling with character level.
Dwarf
Crack Shot has been removed (was 1% Expertise with ranged weapons).
Mace Specialization (was 1% Expertise with maces) has been replaced with Might of the Mountain.
Might of the Mountain is a new racial passive ability that increases Critical Strike bonus damage and healing dealt by 2%.
Stoneform now also removes magic and curse effects in addition to poison, disease, and bleed effects, and reduces physical damage taken by 10% for 8 seconds (down from all damage taken). It remains unusable while the Dwarf is under the effects of crowd control.
Gnome
Expansive Mind now increases maximum mana, energy, rage, and Runic Power by 5% instead of only increasing maximum mana.
Escape Artist’s cooldown has been reduced to 1 minute (down from 1.5 minutes).
Shortblade Specialization (was 1% Expertise with one-handed swords and daggers) has been replaced with Nimble Fingers.
Goblin
Time is Money now grants a 1% increase to Haste (up from only attack speed and spell haste).
Human
Mace Specialization has been removed (was 1% Expertise with maces).
Sword Specialization has been removed (was 1% Expertise with swords).
The Human Spirit has been redesigned. It now increases Versatility, scaling with character level.
Night Elf
Quickness now also increases movement speed by 2% in addition to increasing Dodge chance by 2%.
Touch of Elune is a new passive ability which increases Haste by 1% at night, and Critical Strike chance by 1% during the day.
Orc
Axe Specialization has been removed (was 1% Expertise with axes).
Command now increases pet damage by 1% (down from 2%).
Hardiness now reduces the duration of Stun effects by 10% (down from 15%).
Tauren
Brawn is a new racial passive ability that increases Critical Strike bonus damage and healing done by 2%.
Endurance now increases Stamina by an amount scaling with character level, instead of increasing Base Health by 5%.
Troll
Berserking now increases Haste by 15% (down from 20%).
Beast Slaying now increases XP earned from killing Beasts by 20%, instead of increasing damage dealt versus Beasts by 5%.
Dead Eye has been removed (was 1% Expertise with ranged weapons).
Undead
Will of the Forsaken’s cooldown has been increased to 3 minutes (up from 2 minutes).
Undead can now breathe underwater indefinitely.

So you don’t consider the little boy king story progressing ? He is alliance yeah ? Even in cinematic it is sylvannas vs the boy king so this expansion is about them and will be till next expansion comes

This is over four years old…the man literally just said that for the most part, racials have been addressed and then immediately said that the horde are still OP because they still have to nerf berserking and arcane torrent.

That what i am telling you. they were Nerf. they now only nerf two. One is new blood elf ability was changed. the other is troll again who was already reduce once. A lot here saying all racial are oped. When in fact they only doing one they had changed and one that already been nerfed. That why he said remedy. It was already done. Four years ago. Alliance still saying they OP. How is it possible. You have one article that questionable at best. Because they were paraphrasing him. Not use actual words he said.

I give up. i try to point out there needs to be changed on alliance itself. Instead i get people here demanding stuff be handed to them. There are enough players on both side. Ion have said the numbers are close. The problems you guys want more things handed to you like the major buff coming in war mode. As i can see even when presented with nerfs. You still saying not enough. I have found nothing but Nerf to horde in patch notes as far back in Wraith. I found some buff. But they always been reverted.

Again, lore is a very weak secondary concern of mine. Game play is primary.

BTW, progress in writing does NOT indicate good writing, hence your repeat of Garrosh storyline, which is progressing, but not good writing.

We just followed the Alliance around storywise for an entire expansion.

You can survive 1 single patch cycle.

You can also have someone like Ion on your “side” if you want. Ion plays a shaman. Do you think that has made shaman strong gameplay wise?

Once you get to the point where you realize both sides suffer from bad lore writing, we can sit down at the table and talk like rational adults.

Anyone who pays attention to the writing Blizz has knows it is ia secondary concern of theirs. Especially when they publish novels.

If you give up, it’s because you’re clearly not making your point.

NO ONE argues that the timing of those buffs are what caused players and, more importantly, most of the good guilds, to reroll as horde. (That and Blood Elves) All I’m saying is that if Blizzard wants to get the factions more balanced (they aren’t, or you wouldn’t have seen Mercmode and Warmode would be working fine, but it’s not) then they will have to do something as drastic for the Alliance as they did for the horde. How is that not fair?

As for Dark Iron Dwarves, check wow-stats. You can literally see when they first showed up. The Alliance actually started winning BG’s! You can then also see when they nerfed DiD the first time as well as the second time, to give the horde their wins back.
