Someone immediately came out with an addon that renamed them to Tendies. It’s also a popular term in stock trading, like Stonks or Diamond Hands. Not that I know anything about stocks, but you hear stuff.

Tendies= internet slang for chicken tenders, which tend to be goldish. Tender is also gold.

I’m 40, ‘doggo’ and ‘pupper’ are the only new slang I understand the context of. I hear a lot more, but I don’t know what any of it means. I haven’t yet sunk to the point of using Urban Dictionary to find out.

What is this demand to constantly create vapid slang that is a flash in the pan? Here today and then…gone like fetch. Some words, like tenders, work just fine.
I will concede that calling someone “extra” is just about the perfect way to communicate that type of person. Well done youngsters on that one. You can keep your tea, shade, and tendies.
Chicken tendies is also a thing.
I’m calling them tendies now, just because it triggers so many people. How good is your life going that this is what upsets you?

You need to learn about the is/ought distinction. Is it true that “tendies” is a thing? Yep. No one is contesting that. We are discussing its origins and if it OUGHT to be a thing.
I get the feeling I’m going to be told I don’t take WoW, ,err I mean World of Warcraft, serious enough and I’m not a “real player”.
This is just a video game and people play these things to waste time and have fun right?
