As the title says, Cata was your first expansion that tanked your subscribers. So why try it again? If they offer character copies and an era wrath server I’d be fine but they made no mention of it so it leads me to assume they are moving everyone onto Cata. RIP to my classic journey

Here’s a thought: if you aren’t interested in Cata Classic, then…don’t play it. You’re even free to express your dislike of it, that’s fine, nor everyone likes everything. But have you tried, just maybe, being civil about it? You know, not littering your complaints with passive-aggressive jabs at the people who like the thing you don’t like, if not outright insult them?

Correct. There will be no Wrath Era servers, much like there are no TBC Era servers. The only Era to get a time-locked server will always be Vanilla Classic/Hardcore.
Why? A half-behinded attempt to make Vanilla popular again? It failed the first time, it failed with the Season of Mastery and is only successful thanks to a fan-inspired Hardcore ruleset. Season of Discovery will be done and “boring” within 3 months of release.
Rather wait till they are done with these three expansions so I don’t feel so ripped off by Blizzard’s lack of storytelling. Spreading a story over 3 expansions reaks of corporate greed.
Agreed. That’s what I’m choosing to do. Once Wrath is done, so am I.

Seriously? Because for months we’ve had to listen to forum trolls whinge about “NO CATA”, classic+, and era servers while simultaneously bashing an expansion that some of us actually enjoy and want. There have been innumerable amount of posts filled with lies and half truths about Cata, trying to sway people to their side. So when essentially, the cata crew “won,” we’re throwing it back at them. We did not start this war, but we did win it.

Perhaps this is their chance to rectify past mistakes.

Mist of Pandaria was the peak of WoW and Warlords was when subs started to fall!
