Why, Rather. How are people so bad?

People are bad because they boosted their characters and never learned how to play them. They also don’t really do dungeons anymore as the world quest system discourages it. I want to see heroic dungeons become relevant again and provide useful rewards for fresh 60’s all the way through an expansion.

The distance between required skill between different parts of the game is just too high. At one end, you’ve got solo content that someone wearing gear a full tier behind rolling their face across the keyboard could beat, and on the other end you’ve got mythic content that requires the absolute best from the groups doing it. Inevitably, you end up with players who have the ilvl but not the skill required to do things, because the lower difficulty parts of the game have rewarded gear disproportional to invested effort.

Personally I think the solution is to bump up the difficulty of the bottom end a bit so the open world, normal dungeons, warfronts, etc have real teeth, but who knows.

With how much RNG there is in WoW, it went from a strategy game to a casino game. And since it’s not a strategy game, why would people try to play strategically? They could do 30k or 70k by pressing the same buttons nowadays with all of the traits and corruptions that exist. It’s chaos.

I’m not really hungry, I just ate. But at least you can read what race I’m playing. That’s impressive.

Go for it I guess. It’s not going to save you from the situation you’ve put yourself in, though. As long as you insist on running with pugs, you’ll just have to deal with the quality of players you get. Coming here to whine about players that may or may not be worse than you won’t fix anything.

I do enjoy watching gamers try and defend their e-peen though, so please continue. It’s a phenomenon that’s both entertained and baffled me for 15 years.

I mean here’s where you’re going wrong.

If you want success you need to run with an organized team. Because the internet is anonymous, there’s a ton of people who are of the opinion that it doesn’t matter “I’ll forget you after leaving”.

Conquest cap and Alchemy.

Ah, so with that picture you lost your grounds on the original antagonism. So, now it comes down to epeen? While, in fact. It has nothing to do with it. It has to do with people not knowing how to play.

Your avatar may be undead, but you are a troll trying to insight conflict. As such, I will no longer be reading, or even noticing, anything you say.

-Edit-
They are in fact, not an undead. Just a very ugly Troll. My mistake, but I will leave it in the post anyway with an edit to admit to my mistake.

if you wont put in effort to find good players I would suggest giving up

im lenient for this kind of stuff, i don’t expect people to be good at everything, as long as the content is cleared, which happens most of the time im fine with whichever way it’s done, but man some players make me wonder

the last dungeon i stepped into when i did mythics was a mythic 6, and i ran into a priest who selected dps deciding to play as holy instead because “extra healing isn’t bad,” with a warrior tank who used no cooldowns or ignore pain

needless to say it didn’t end well
took a long break from mythics that’s still going today

if your gonna run mythics, atleast know your class, that’s all i ask

Ah, I haven’t done any PvP and don’t have alchemy. I was thinking of switching from leatherworking, since I don’t actually use anything other than the Dustmane Direwolf. Do you know if you still get to use mounts obtained from trade skills when switching to another?

Well you designated a not-insignificant portion of your OP to talking about how “not elitist” you are and then specifics about dps, and then had to defend yourself with pics when a couple of us questioned it, so… clearly it’s important to you.

No it’s not. I think you’re looking at your own.

I don’t get it either.

Did you know a 470 Veng DH can practically solo Mythic dungeons? I ran a few with a geared Veng DH to do the event weekly. Didn’t even need a healer.

Some people don’t care to do well. They WOULD LIKE to do well, just like people would like to win the lottery or otherwise become rich but they don’t WANT it. They aren’t going to put a lot of effort into actually making it happen. They will just “I wish I could do more dps” while simultaneously not having enchants. Not like enchants are going to bring someone from 30k to 70k but it’s the mindset of doing all you can to increase your output.

This is the best way to find terrible players.

You don’t have to pvp to get conquest. You can just turn Warmode on and do the assaults and/or wait for the pvp chests to drop in Nazjatar.

I see. Thanks for the info!

The OP also mentioned they were checking IO, meaning these people have done harder than M0 versions of these dungeons before at least.

Lucky with weeklies, assuming TW LFD counts as “solo” content? I got at least one 455 trinket that way.

Allowing new players to ‘boost’ is one reason.
Amended: Allowing ANY player to boost up is a reason; that feature should be removed from the game. When you skip so much game time, you have no feel, no real experience. When the big crunch comes, you have to set and think for a moment which, at high levels, is more than enough time to wipe the party.
RL armies have boot camp for a reason.

With two healers the tank should have been in great shape! Think outside the meta!
