this is one of those “back pocket” things they hold onto and will use it critically to retain subs. Kinda like how they brought back Mage Tower and pseudo-removed aoe cap at the height of lost subs due to allegations.

But in all seriousness shadow priest is my favorite spec but I don’t play it because of shadow form.
I play mmorpgs to design characters and play them. This gross shroud ruins that
Oh my word I wish so much for this! Shadowform is awful. The cloud puffs behind your mount is bad enough. But worse to me is the swirling effect all over your character. It reminds me a whole lot of the blind spots I get in my vision before I get a migraine. I find it really unpleasant to look at. The glyph of shadows just makes your character less translucent but keeps all the obnoxious parts!

They used to have a more diminished shadow effect glyph that for me, was perfect. I don’t know why they changed it to this new weird effect. It’s so ugly.
