I mean, why not? If you are playing a MMORPG odds are you know you will want to be there for the new content with your friends or just experience the world while it’s new and exciting.
I get not preordering single player games but if you have a long term investment in a MMORPG you know pretty quickly if you’re going to want to be there for the new content or not. And launch day is when things are most fun and you can get a standard game’s worth of hours in before you might start feeling the urge to take a break.
Of course this time out they’re giving early access to the whales who drop $90. So. We’re not all starting together in War Within, I guess.

But everything else will be more expensive. Cost of living will make that $70 not stretch as far as it does now. Just spitballing at what angle that poster was coming from. I wouldnt look THAT deep but some might.

Virtue signalling is an inexact science. What you think is holding out to avoid the preorder concept could be interpreted as lack of interest by someone else, may stop development of some extra art book or collector’s edition at a later date.
