I don’t know if it applies, but Blizzard stole the flying mechanics from guild wars 2 gryphon+skyscale, (and called it dragonriding/dynamic flight) and they did it really well IMO. I logged on gw2 a few weeks ago and flying there felt so boring now.
I just hope they will let us choose the map where we want our player house to be, and to let us choose race thematic stuff. For exemple, I want my Zandalari to live in a Zuldazar house, with Zandalari themed forniture. They would have to make items for every single race, and some extra for different classes, and even specific factions, like “oh I want to be an scarlet crusader”, so they’d have to cover that in order to make everyone happy. That’s what makes me worried.
Pardon me, but what nonsense did I say?
Everything I said in most of the threads I participated was all related to personal opinions.
I never said anything offensive to anyone, only things that added something to the threads.
(After all, any thread in “GENERAL DISCUSSION” is meant for discussions with different points of view.)
I’m sorry if I said something that offended you, but there’s no need to be rude or immature.

I hope the neighborhood is optional.
The game been a mess for years now yet many of the complainers claiming they gonna quit still play, so no.
I want a pirate ship, or a ship.

I’m not really too invested in player housing tbh.
Even in games where I’ve played where it was avalible, just wasn’t really a part have been into.
I’m mainly checking it out when it hits just to check out.
There’s tons they could make avalible to be done with easily if they choose to.
As mentioned it’s more vibe of having a place in a deep dark forest and for me that fits Tirisfal perfectly, heck I’d be happy with one of the empty tombs there.Small dark and gothy but simple.
I gotcha. And you should be able to have that. Or at least replicate it. If done right there should be no limit to what players could build.

I’ve always wanted player housing, but I’m worried it will release with a portion of the planned content. Trickle the rest over the next xpack, and eventually stop adding as much to it.
That or we will straight up not receive various/enough location/structure and style options.
Please God don’t put the decor items on the shop. Make them earned from new as well as old content like the garrison jukebox. Having a couple items on the TP that match the monthly theme would be fine, but we’d need to keep the 500 bonus tendies we got for the 20th.
I will certainly require a CAVE since I guess I would live more like a dragon would.
Let me place my piles of loose gold on the floor
Of all of the expectations I’ve seen so far, open world housing, house raids, player created PvP neighborhoods, etc…
The most unrealistic one is that it won’t just become a cash shop pusher.
This is the only thing you can completely rely on happening.

Can blizzard just hire the wildstar housing system.
Unfortunately, this is likely true. It certainly seems as though MS-ActiBlizz always goes for features that wring the maximum amount of cash from us…forgetting that WoW’s original success came from being fun and innovative.

Oh you can bet 100% you’ll be able to purchase all of your home furnishing needs via the cash shop, including your home.

I have interest in it other than the amount of fun the forums will be after it is released and it is nowhere what people wanted, no requirements were gathered, it was implemented poorly, and it will be pay to play.
Why does it matter if cities are empty?
Also, too…they’re empty on most servers anyways due to population.
Well…if that all turns out to be the case, it will be the incentive I’ve needed for leaving the game. If PH turns out well however, I’ll be playing for years to come.
It’s in their hands now.

All I know is if I can’t select a plot somewhere in the hills/mountains of Dun Morogh to build my cabin, I’m not interested.
