What reason do you have to still keep playing your warrior? For the people who are die hard fans. I am trying to keep playing, mostly for my guilds benefit but man it is no fun!
The plate gear from gnomer is trash, we are back to fighting rogues, hunters, and Druids for the leather and mail.
In general it seems the has been careful considerations taken to not make warrior gear or melee weapons very good (maces from pvp rewards, mostly fast weapons from gnomer)
They NEED wind fury to be viable. Good luck if you have no Druid or shaman. It literally turns into an auto attack class.
Sword and board tanking has been nerfed to the ground.
They have very poor survivability in pvp. Even if you are lucky enough to group with a healer. You canât heal through the big damage other classes are pumping out, this also makes the MS rebuff worthless.
If you do get time to connect to a target the damage is too low to apply any real pressure and most of the time you will die before you have enough rage to start any meaningful offence.
The runes are very boring and lackluster. Passive increases that are scaling (good once you are geared to the teeth but boring). I mean they put two different versions of using slam on the same rune slot. Just seems very lazy.
What keeps you going? What light do you have at the end of the tunnel for this phase?
I plan to level my Warrior to 40 during this phase mostly because they are going to dominate at 60 in raids. They are pound for pound the DPS kings.
Everyone is freaking out at 25 and 40 and I just think they need to take a deep breath, open their front door, and get acquainted with some grass.
Remember in BFD when casters were trash? Now they are much better, mostly because of the bosses high armor (Sounds familiar right?).
Yaâll are seeing the balance rollercoaster in mere phases just like they were back in vanilla each patch. Warriors will be on top in many ways and will be at a disadvantage in other ways.
Iâve always played warrior since vanilla. Itâs the class I know best and enjoy. Sadly this is the worst state theyâve ever been in pvp wise, having done warrior in vanilla, tbc, wrath, cata and now SoD.
well, there is no way of knowing whether or not warrior will be best dps at 60. if they keep up the whole nerf warriors buff not warriors we will atleast be top 40 in dps
For me, I find it to be super fun in all content. I actually like warriors though, and have for quite a while. I even leveled 2 during WoW Classic 2019, and although my Retail main is also a Warrior, I think I prefer the SoD version of Warrior over Retail, so far. At least the rage and stance management aspects are a lot of fun.
And yeah, who doesnât like being the highest on the DPS meters, but thatâs only a small portion of the overall gameplay, in my personal opinion. Besides, itâs not like Iâm a 99-100% parser anyway!
Crit vomiting as DW fury. Straight up been the biggest dopamine rush in this game since I started playing warriors in 2006.
Iâm absolute fodder in Gnomer and question my class every second, but then I remember the critz.
My warrior is Dual Wield because it looks cool not because I donât know what i"m doing.
I know 2H is better in the current phase I just donât care.
