Why on earth do you get a deserter buff for being kicked from a group?

it’s already been tested extensively.

did you even read your own post? :joy:

I said I was testing an addon and requested to be kicked, and when they said they would I said “thanks friends” and we all had a laugh. Sorry you’re so miserable this would have ruined your day, snowflake

oh it wouldn’t have ruined my day, i just wouldn’t have wasted a kick on someone because they asked.
if they don’t want to be in the group, they can leave.

sorry if that would have ruined your day.

Queso? :cheese:

Nice attempt at a recovery. I’m flattered you saw how clever my language was and tried to emulate it and failed.

thanks.

there was nothing clever about it.

i was merely attempting to communicate in words which you’re familiar with.

don’t worry, we got the message:

carrys: you’re going too fast!
also carrys: you’re holding us up!

can’t make this stuff up

So why were you even queueing to do it with a group then if you could solo it and were just there to faceroll?

Not everyone in level 20 content understands what’s happening, where to go, or HOW to keep up if they get left behind. Especially in zergs where the tank has zero regard for anyone else in the group and/or potentially takes skips the rest of the group doesn’t know about or aren’t used to. Which often means the rest of the group (usually healer) picks up aggro as you get too far away.

The healer let you know they weren’t comfortable, so don’t be surprised that you were then kicked for ignoring your team in collaborative group content. When you choose to engage in group content, there’s a certain level of expectation to… you know… work with your group. Running off and leaving the group behind sounds like deserting to me :woman_shrugging:

thats not looking for raid.

Everything you mentioned in your hypothetical scenario has already been debunked in this thread. Take your carry, say “thank you” and requeue. Or try Follower dungeons.

You are incredibly starved for gratification and validation

For saying “thank you” when receiving an unpaid carry? You’re so steeped in toxic casual culture that you must baselessly insult better players to prop yourself up, eh?

… this is just sad

you’re tellin’ me.
If you’d like to apologize, I’m all ears.

I’m sorry your feelings/sense of superiority is easily punctured?

Nope, obviously not.
I’m talking about your fatherless behaviour regardless of how I feel about it.
A worthwhile adult would have a) not baselessly insulted his/her betters, and b) apologized.

I think it’s pretty clear the OP just wants an argument. Fortunately the forums are like a charity for those who never get the attention they crave, and are willing to take anything they can get rather than being lonely.

I now yield the floor to the needy.

This kept happening to me when I was leveling. I kept getting vote kicked for being AFK even though I wasn’t.

I really don’t care what people think OP did it this thread to get kicked, people will goal post move anyway, but this is a bad system. Anyone who does anything will inevitably get screwed over by it.
That doo doo dungeon content that isn’t M+ is all going to be dead anyway to any decent player, the only people getting removed from those newbian groups are newbians. I’ll just go back to questing to level to avoid the vote kick abuse. It’s super annoying when you’re leveling, it’s meaningless when you’re max level because then I just jump on an alt if I get newbian kicked.
