Can someone explain this to me? Why not have this amazing feature that was added to WoW? If I hit a mob and you hit it we both get the quest reward? What is the reason this was not added to classic? The only thing not having it is cause frustration and competition against mobs. Add this to mop classic and PLEASE add this to classic + so that we don’t have to endure that nightmare again.

They stole the mounts from GW2 why not the quest/mob tagging like GW2 has.

People could actually level if they did.
As it sits, you can NOT level by questing, far too many selfish “Richards” spam-killing quest mobs.
Shared tagging is BADLY needed.

No they didnt? there’s literally 100 people trying to do the sha quest coupled with 5 second delay (lol 2005 servers)

it’s just too antisocial. this way you have to interact with other palyers.
They definitely did. The intro area to the Jade Forest was swarmed, there was a disconnect, logged back in and for the remainder of the entire zone I saw maybe 4 people total, none of whom were the several guildmates chatting in discord leveling in the same areas
at this point with how many things have changed classic xpac to xpac i don’t think it really matters if it came out in wod. especially with the way launch has been going right now. I’d agree if it was still to this day #nochanges. But that just isn’t the case anymore.

Well that wasn’t the case for me. Before I logged off maybe 30 minute ago were people everywhere in the starter zone and the lag was horrible. Hopefully it’ll be better tomorrow.
MoP classic I could understand but shared tagging has no place in vanilla or classic+.
Tons of “Richards” spam-killing quest mobs.
Layers or not, you cannot complete quests with that trash going on.
Dungeon spam is the best way to go right now.

Honestly can’t enjoy any version of WoW anymore without shared tags. It’s so backwards and hostile. Really makes people into jerks.

I definitely agree with the mob tagging… Cata launch was trash for like 2 weeks its the same all over again.

While I am not sure what the reason for not doing something is for every possible situation imaginable, I would say with some level of confidence that in all situations, “because it would require some time and effort to do so,” is at least one possible reason of the potentially infinite set of reasons for not to do anything.
