Why not have the prepatch last for a month ?
why not two?
Because TBC prepatch is rather lackluster
cause we dont need practice we been in tbc before if u wanna lvl a dra or BE thats ur problem some of us wont and we dont wanna wait for the cry babies o no i have 2 weeks now u have less cause they took more time with patch cry about that now
Lackluster, but entertaining for alts
More like they’re trying to make sure they have something out at near the same time as their competition. We got advised of the pre patch 2 weeks before it went live and a month before the expansion itself. Feels like they rushed it all out for the mighty $.
It’s just causing a striesand effect, I’ve had plenty of time to browse ESO website while they take their time with this patch.
Eh, more likely the fact that they didn’t want to drop 9.1 (leaked date of june 29) and tbc together but wanted them both in Q2 because they already have DII and Immortal for further quarters.
I kind of get their logic with this. They want to let people clone characters to leave on classic, but they don’t want the clones to get any benefit from the pre patch mechanics and changes. Therefore, they need to push the pre patch as close to launch as possible.
Why not zoidberg?
Sort of find it weird that everyone seems to thinks its only about beating the competition to release something.
I mean I am sure that has a lot to do with it, but I would wager a large amount of the logic of such a short pre patch is quite simply, staggering players.
They know a very large amount of people will want to make horde paladins/alliance shaman, and a large majority of those people will not be 58 in two weeks, thus reducing the (almost assuredly) massive crowding in the TBC zones. (Also supported by the no level boosts for said characters)
