Blizzard, can we please get a blue post/response to the question on if the fresh servers once they have moved to TBC will remain there this time so we get forever TBC servers? Many of us have zero desire to redo classic, its simply not a draw since we can play on the current ERA with our current characters, we also have zero desire to go to WOTLK and continue down that path.
What we want is a ERA TBC server that doesn’t go away.

They want you to be hopeful and pay this whole time then disappoint you. They know if they tell you no perm TBC you’ll cancel that sub.
They wont make this decision THIS early. It is just a good business practice to give room to pivot if needed.

Blizzard, please consider conducting a player survey or opening dialogue with the community about the feasibility of a permanent TBC server.
As a 20 year customer, please just communicate. If the answer is “no”, tell us so we don’t waste our time. Ignoring us won’t make us stop asking.

Honestly don’t get the freshers, I will happily stay on the ERA servers for playing classic, and want TBC forever servers so I can play TBC. Really see little to no point for restarting all the time, and throwing away everything you have done, fine if people like that, but I simply prefer the permanent servers.

They probably also want to leave the door open for other possibilities. Some people probably really want to move onto Wrath Classic II.
There’s a lot that has been left unsaid, afaik… like, what if someone just wants the fresh Classic experience, but would prefer to stay in Era? Will there be an option to transfer/stay or is it all forced into TBC Classic?
The idea that players from the new HC anniversary realms can only transfer to anniversary normal makes me wonder whether there will ever be a path back to Era, esp. since Dual Spec is supposed to be a thing on these new servers. Will there be some joining of SoD and Anniversary characters at some point?
era servers aren’t as great as you think now if we had recurring fresh era servers, i’d be happy as a clam forever.

I don’t really think anything will join with SOD, thats too much the mess with all the class/gear changes. Honestly so far nothing they are doing prevents them from allowing characters on the Anniversary Servers back to ERA Forever servers, you would simply lose Dual Wield. The debuff limit doesn’t really matter either and would simply be no longer available.
i think sod should also get a era server where they add content to it every season. also i hope they add dual spec and remove debuff limit in era

I believe so.
While they are using these servers in the moment to pacify a couple of different camps, (fresh enjoyers and TBC enjoyers) I think the end game is a future home for SoD characters.
With all the changes they are implementing in these servers, the writing is on the wall.
Vanilla Era players also would like to know if there will be an option to clone/transfer to existing Era servers before the TBC prepatch.
Permaservers are the only way to get off the treadmill. Please stop diverting players away from these types of servers (which are BTW much closer to pure profit for Blizz). And don’t keep those who want TBC Era in the dark.
