So im not allowed to have a differing opinion? Its a forum where discussion happens bud. Its not “white knighting” if i dont think ppl should be chain running the simplest normal dungeons designed for level 71s so they can upgrade their 610 gear.
Or, they could make actual evergreen content, like other MMORPGs do that have places to RP, zone events, etc. Carrot on a stick is nice and all, but the thrill and engagement only lasts so long no matter how you try and extend it. Simpler raids/dungeons that are more re-playable and accessible would last longer, rather than having bosses that can’t be soloed despite inevitably only being run solo which is rather counterproductive.
Sadness because why? I mean I guess I understand the motive behind it. It’s the motive that makes me sad. Not having to finish the dungeon. Okay no. Doing the Titan disc thing. I did the follower dungeon twice and then the last run I did only the first boss because I was done. So maybe the entire thing makes me sad.
EDIT: I don’t do heroics. Just a situation I’m in thing. But I see posts about players leaving early etc. If this has something to do with that, I get it. I know that I wouldn’t want to be stuck in a group that lost members or join a group that had already downed bosses. LFG matchmaker is such a crap shoot.
good luck trying to reason with the forums, they will dogpile you and call you a white knight if you dont blindly agree that everything should be available right away, and then if you want something they’ll tell you to wait like everyone else. nobody here is worth talking to bud.
Wouldn’t a more sensible change have been to nerf follower dungeon valorstones then? Deserter would’ve taken care of normal dungeon queues. At the very least they could’ve just made the entire sum drop off the last boss. I was already starving for valorstones, so this is just nuts to me.
Probably because the devs don’t want geared people to feel incentivized to run normal and heroic dungeons for valorstone farming efficiency.
I’m guessing they just wan’t players to feel like they can partake in activities at their current level without necessarily having to regress for currency.
Blizzard is always looking out for stuff that might incentivize unnatural behavior especially if that behavior results in tedious repetitive tasks. They don’t want players to burn themselves out.
