Heh, hang on to that faith and one day, you might be rewarded for your perseverance.
kind of pessimistic on that thought though.
More skimpy transmog not being added to the game has nothing to do with LGBT. You’re scapegoating.
WWWHHHHAAAATTTTT!!!
That is ludicrous.
Don’t be! Hope for the best. You’re a friendly person Puré, you might not think it, but I think you have much more light within yourself than you are aware of.
You just need a little help drawing it out.
I think you have a hard time understanding the point. Scapegoating what?
I gave you clear cut examples of games, and of Blizzard own actions, what they have said…and the quality of the content/story base off my views.
You’re blaming LGBT people because Blizzard won’t give you a larger variety of clothes to wear while in Goldshire.
Again, you are missing the point. I did not blame LGTBQ. I said that the movement gets in the crossfire because of these people.
Just remember you had good conversations with a few of us tonight that should show that there is hope. And if you ever stumble across me I’ll be glad to lend an ear
Pelagos is the result of the writing team. Him existing isn’t taking away your skimpy mogs or anything else from the game. Period. Full stop.
…i don’t think you understand. It is fine, your point has nothing to do with what I just said.
I must have missed something with this Pelagos thing
Blizzard deserves no props for being this far behind the curve or for such blatant tokenism, especially if they’re just going to censor it to appease their overlords oversees.
But sure, I’m glad Blizzard is condemning gay couples to the same god awful writing all the straight couples get.
If they’d be so willing to discard it, it makes me question if they actually cared about it at all.
This alone flat out states,
“They took away quality and ruined the game, but here they are bragging about woke points to an already angry playerbase over those lost features that it is unfortunately drawing unfair ire and resentment towards LGBT who did literally nothing to deserve it”.
He claimed that LGBT representation (like Pelagos) was taking away content from wow.
When asked how he listed some other games, that Blizzard isn’t adding more skimpy mogs, and some author I’ve never heard of as proof that Pelagos and characters like him are taking other things away from wow.
Bingo. That is why it is dangerous to have business cater to movements.
Try to stay safe if you can, it’s always a good idea to try and keep things secure if you ever start feeling that coming onto you again. Of course that might not work if you feel that for long periods of time like I used to do in the past, I joined the military and eventually took a three year tour in Afghanistan thinking that since I was too coward to kill myself I might hopefully get someone else to kill me instead. But that faded away as time went on thankfully. Your future can and will get brighter it’s good that your faith helps keep you together as well.
i’m glad
I 2nd this, if you ever run into me in-game Puré, I’d be happy to hang out and goof around.
I’ll agree that being trans and being gay is not the same thing as there is a difference between orientation and gender identity, they ABSOLUTELY belong with us. Our rights are heavily intertwined and the more we stand together the better it is for all of us. If you can’t find any empathy for them as humans, then realize that if they lose their rights then ours are generally next on the chopping block.
