In my opinion alphabet’s don’t Need representation. If the character is good, awesome. Then if that character happens to be alphabet, even better. I don’t feel represented when a character has the lust for body parts I do. In fact I feel it as a forceful “Here I am, do you like me cause I’m not part of the greater statistical value?”

Actually I speak for everyone. Straight™ characters are boring. Played out. Stories we’ve seen a million times over and there’s nothing new there.
LGBTQIA+ characters tho? Deep action. Intrigue. Suspense. Beautiful romance. Really the only thing worth paying attention to these days.
And this is why I don’t associate myself with the alphabet group. smh

It’s not exactly that. It’s them thinking that the sexual orientation of a character is a defining character trait. Which has null value in anything outside of what it defines.
