It’s okay to disagree. That’s not going to change my opinion that I’d like to see more LGBT characters in the game. A few people on a small dedicated forum does not represent the majority. There’s millions that play this game. There’s a reason Blizzard is adding and representing LGBT more because it’s got enough appeal and support to warrant it.
This forum is to hopefully get our feedback and ideas across to Blizzard whom I assume periodically reads. It’s not the only platform that I’ve seen groups of people want more LGBT representation.
You say it’s ok to disagree and then proceed to call all those who disagree homophobic.
You’re a base troll at best who latches onto a cause because you wanna feel special.
You’re not special and never will be.

I only call those homophobic that claim LGBT community is pushing an agenda and making rude remarks or conspiracy theories about it. Those who disagree because they simply don’t think it’s needed or personally want it are different and IMO valid feedback.
And yet when we say its not needed you call us homophobic even when we give good reasons.
So yeah you’re just a troll with no credibility.

Why though? Without even a thought you receive representation both good and bad which is your privilege. Whats wrong with equalizing the playing field?
If I’m a troll with no credibility, why do you bother responding to me? You seem to like stirring the pot.
Same could be said to you.
If I’m just homophobic why reply too me.

According to the naysayers, you can’t have an equalized playing field without pushing an agenda and ruining the game.
As badly as I want to see LGBT+ characters to have more spotlight, it always seems to be a futile endeavor with how fragile alot of the naysayers are about it.
That’s what’s annoying to me, always being expected to project myself onto characters with traits I lack, and watching people get upset when they’re asked to do the same.
I enjoy that I can always tell when a new LGBT+ person is reading through these threads because I’ll suddenly have like 9-12 likes on posts all from one person.
I see you and cherish you. <3

Give 'em an inch, they’ll take a mile.
I’ll say this, and maybe it’s just a reflection of the era in which I grew up, but it’s far better to set an example than to look for one lest some corporation or orgination takes it upon themselves to do so for when they do, it will surely be a poor, shallow, and highly stereotyped representation.
Lives, even within every subset, is varied. It’s.time we learned to accept that no matter who you are. No one has the exact same experiences growing up and as someone who reads and writes for characterization, if you (not OP specifically) cannot relate to a character because of what they don’t represent, that’s a rather shallow character in my view.

They’d have to explain the correlation between wanting representation ——> wanting bad stereotypes
Their entire argument is refuted if I simply ask for good representation.
The truth is they have constructed a strawman to hide behind in order to avoid the truth, that they don’t want gay people in their stories.
They know they can’t say that, so they concern troll.
Take solace in the fact that despite their transparent contention, they have lost.

I explained similar earlier up. I regret being so cordial. I’ma go back to trolling them lol
They always say they care about the writing…but the more you hear this as an excuse the less you believe it.

These same people are the ones I guarantee don’t read quest text and skip through all dialogue/cut-scenes.
It took you a very long time to write that out.
That must have been super hard
It’s almost like. I don’t know, a certain group of people, are ALSO wanting to escape to a fantasy world where they can be a certain way without worry or judgment want to know for sure they’re also welcome.
I know, it’s a terrifying thought and all. but hey, it happens.
