The only “progressive” thing I’ve seen him do so far is “fighting climate change” also known as taking away jobs from people that need them by destroying their industry they work in.

Yup the thousands of union jobs that were lost. People are pissed because now they have no way to support themselves or thier families.

As a gay man I can confidently say that it doesn’t matter.
Entertainment’s business model is to appeal to the masses and the truth is that we’re a minority, introducing an LGBTQIA+ character isn’t as profitable as straight one simply because there’s 15 or 20 more people that will identify with it.
It’s nice to see LGBTQIA+ character every now and then but only if it serves a purpose to the story or the character’s own growth (Todd Chavez), what is not right is trying to force LGBTQIA+ down everyone’s throat just to show how #progressive your show is (Batwoman).
Representation in entertainment won’t help address the issues that vulnerable LGBTQIA+ communities are dealing with: discrimination from jobs, lack of access to medical attention, hate crimes, etc.

It’s funny. I’ve known canadians in my life. Its very hard to get them mad. They’re just so chill about alot of things.
But if something does manage to anger them then you know it’s bad.

Biden has the broken the record for age of president entering office set by Trump by 8 years and Reagan by 9 years and Reagan held the record until Trump was elected 35 years later.

Because no one, not even gay writers, seems to write such characters as anything but one dimensional. Their only defining characteristic being, “I’m so gay!”
See the former Batwoman, played by Ruby Rose. Gawd, that show was horrible (second season is out and Rose left the show. The new actress is getting writing just as pathetic).
We aren’t going to get Hollywood level writing in a video game, so don’t expect the writing to be any better.
I have absolutely no qualms with the inclusivity of gay and lez (the whole word is censored for some dumb reason) characters. I believe that we have had several, particularly in Northrend.
As for major characters of that persuasion? Can we have them as new characters, instead of retroactively changing established characters (see Albus Dumbledore)?

ROGD (rapid onset gender dysphoria) is of increasing concern, especially in younger girls. Something similar to a social contagion (like self-harm, eating disorders and suicide in the young) seems to be happening.
It especially seems to be affecting young girls, which is strange as it used to be mainly middle aged men transitioning. There has been over a 3000% increase in cases in the UK in the last few years.
The latest Keira Bell legal case was interesting. Young girl who was fast tracked by a gender clinic in to surgery and hormones because she felt ‘uncomfortable’ wearing makeup and dresses (what we used to call a tomboy) She sued. She won. ‘Desisters’ often feel marginalised by the ‘T’ and often get harassed online for breaking the ‘transition fixes everything and gender is innate’ narrative.
They also seem to be mainly girls who would feel out of place anyway, many have been lesbians who thought being ‘male’ would make them more accepted, abused girls who thought it would protect them from further assault, and autistic girls who don’t tend to conform to gender stereotypes anyway and got sucked in to the movement.
Due to the fact these clinics have not been collecting any sort of data or looking in to causes (noted as shocking by the judge) studies are again thin on the ground. Some interesting treatment options starting to emerge though.
Shocking but apparently removing access to the internet for a few months seems to allow these girls to become themselves again.

Do you want LGBT content like characters where LGBT is the defining factor for said character or do you want it as something that makes up a very small part of the character ?
Something that is mentioned in passing and not brought up again as a main focus of said character.
