Why it is hypocritical to call Sylvanas evil

  1. She’s not real.
  2. I’ve never killed anyone in my life, and I am not likely to start.
  3. evil is as evil does.

Also, 5/10

You got bites, but it is a tired subject.

I’ve never ordered genocide, so there’s that.

Yea I’ve done some rotten stuff, but never checked that box. LOL

Hello! Sylvanas is evil and the enemy of life.

Like Garrosh, Sylvanis did nothing wrong. ALL IT WOULDVE TAKEN WAS A FLASHBACK TO DISPLAY MOTIVATION THAT WAS LEFT OUT OF 10 YEARS IN GAME REPRESENTATION BLIZZ THATS ALL!! Freaking used her to introduce shadowlands AT ICC and couldn’t bother to show her suicide.

You’ve also never literally been to hell and back, so there’s that.

Becuase she is Blizzard’s mary-sue
They tried to make here a Warcraft version of Kerrigan, but failed miserably.

In actual lore, it was supposed to be her who faced Arthas, but she never did.

The Horde always forgets that the alliance always responds to some aggression that the Horde have always initiated before.

I read the title of the article and then looked at who wrote it with no surprise at all. lol Part of me thinks she should have a higher post count by now.

So glad I didn’t have a beverage in my mouth as I read that.

Everytime I see Dark Lady I can’t help but hear it yelled by Jerry Lewis.

Doesn’t matter. There is no excuse for genocide.

This sentence is dripping with spectacularly sexist assumptions on who does what in a relationship.

Don’t project your own moral failings onto the rest of us.

You haven’t caught up on the lore, she killed herself met arthas in shadowlands because of her actions at the wrath gate realized what the hell was going on (which made her motivated to avoid her final death at all costs) made the deal with the valkyire for her extra lives died again after raising the dude in SFK at the battle of gilneas (which motivated her to strip newly risen undead of some of their free will) She’s not a mary sue, she’s an emotionally unstable strategist that has had 0 in game representation in terms of presenting her motivation to the players since cataclysm. Back in the day we knew her motivation, she wanted revenge on arthas but there hasn’t been a single in game explanation as to why she BECAME who she hated. Her story is actually one of the best modern fantasy tales in terms of villains it’s just been told by drooling retards that decided to put it in books, web comics and all these other tid bits but not the actual game that these tid bits are designed to support.

You would say that gnomish propaganda if you ask me.

I would actually support the Alliance being in the wrong here, Greymane had no clue what she was up to, the fact he turned out to be right in the end doesn’t really change the fact that he did initially commit a war crime.

You didn’t read any of the out of game explanations to her sudden shift in motivation.

An evil person calling another person evil isn’t inherently hypocritical.

sylvanas isnt real, reality does not apply here

Best fantasy comes in terms of how well it can relate to reality. Players can’t relate to sylvanis because blizzard has given up on trying to show the motivation or her progression of thought over the past 10 years since the death of arthas.

It’s only hypocritical if you’re a gnome.

She… burned down a city with the occupants locked inside, gassed her own people (more than once I think), made a deal with the devil to send souls to hell in exchange for power, ripped the barrier between worlds apart, and that’s just the really bad stuff.

I think…she might be the baddie.
