why did the servers go down? I have been looking for a blue post or something but there is nothing…
Forums aren’t manned around the clock, make sure though to check @BlizzardCS on Twitter. Usually though twitter and cs are manned by the same group. An update is likely when staff arrive shortly.

Was this the planned maintenance from earlier today that was posted in the launcher?

I doubt it, no one mentioned anything about servers going down. Server staus stayed green. Was going to ask op to clarify, but that time passed.
