I am controls systems engineer by trade. I remember as a kid, id play on the portable allen bradley programmer and watch it punch out ribbons for the main machine to take. Turn out I was playing on 1974-1980 PLC system lol He said he started working for coke cola company programming VFD (variable frequency drives) for conveyors and such. THEY USED PUNCH RIBBON COMPUTERS! so old.

Damn my kids don’t even know what a Pager was. I still get odd looks pulling out VHS tapes. But for some reason records are okay and got cool again. Go figure.

oh im sure mine don’t either. pagers were a bit before my time. spawned in 1983, so by the time i attained some form of being that could loosely be called sentience by my elders, pagers were being phased out for cell phones.

Why can’t they just swap servers so there is no downtime” …um wow, almost 20 years of playing WoW and there have been so many n00bs complaining about patching I think I’ve forgotten most of their whiney comments. OH one more “I’m going to RAGE QUIT That will show Blizzard!!!” sigh
If you are using Windows 11, you can show up to 3 clocks in your system tray…
Right click the clock in the lower right of the screen, click ‘adjust date and time’, this will open the settings window, then at the bottom, click ‘additional clocks’ and set up the additional clocks you want in the new white window.
Then, when you hover your mouse over your clock, you’ll see something like this:

That’s funny, i bet i knew him. My first video game console was in 1969, the Magnavox Odyssey with Pong and Dinosaur hunter, for vacuum tube transistor televisions mounted in a 300 pound cabinet of lead glass and hard maple.

It is a shame that they only really did 1 or 2 tests for flipping the system of Warbands on over on the test realms. They really should have done more to properly prepare for this transition. That is what I assume is the hold up if I had to wager a guess.

OMG! I remember that system when I was a kid. Then the Atari 2600 was next in my parent’s home, and it forced the Odyssey into retirement.

Yea, and some friend down the street prob had intellivision and you;d go play football or baseball on that and tank battle on atari
Yes, I’m aware of the existence of time zones. That’s why I put the range at 5pm to 8pm to represent 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern and cover all my bases. Oh and look - it’s extended to 5pm Pacific. Fun times.
