All I see on these forums is ‘dont play [insert class] because you wont get into parties’. Ive literally seen every single class in the game named here as unplayable. If we listened to the toxicity on these forums, thered be no point in even playing the game because every class is filled up already lmfao

You won’t get to party with the types of insecure people on these forums. But for the vast majority of the content and the experience the game offers, it won’t really matter.

We already know what’s going to be good or bad.
Also a bunch of sweaty players who think they need the perfect comp to beat some of the easiest content ever created

it’s not toxicity, just exaggeration. yeah you won’t never get into groups but it’s a simple statement of fact that you will have a harder time getting into them playing a class that is either oversaturated, or severely underperforming

You’re right, its solved. And we know that it literally doesn’t matter. The content is easy enough to be beaten with any comp.

Its mostly just the plate dps from what I’ve seen and there is a decent reason for it.
There’s a small handful of idiots who just say “not top tier therefore awful class”, but for the most part its just targeted at things that have legitimate reasons to consider staying away from. I already know 2 people who have quit because they learned too late that maybe ret paladin/warrior wasn’t a great choice if you don’t already have a raid team lined up that wants to take you.
If you really want to play a certain class then that’s fine, but there absolutely are negative repercussions for some of them and there is value in letting people know what they’re getting into.

A well geared tank and healer can duo most heroics and Naxx and OS have rewards for beating it with less than a full raid. If someone is saying no to certain class/specs, they probably have ulterior motives or are the type of player that needs a BIS level 80 and two friends to gank a level 60 out in the world.

It’s because the min max, it exist in current gaming, all the games have min maxes.
I should be a Human Death Knights instead of a Gnome because the guide says it have 1% more damage with swords…

About 1 in 5 players on Grobbulus are paladins. Think about that.
There is a hyper optimized meta and then there is good enough. The difference between those two isn’t as large as people would have you believe.
If you want to be ultra sweaty try hard, find an ultra sweaty try hard guild and ask them what they need. Roll that and go. If that’s how you want to play, you’ll have it done in a week, probably raid ready.
If you don’t want to be that, just play what you want. There will be groups for you. Or make your own group 
Depends on the class/spec.
Some specs are just garbage for PvE like frost mage and sub rogue.
As for classes some are just so saturated right now like Pallies and DK’s. As much as I REALLY want to play my Pally and DK (because my go to classes in Retail since WotLK have been Mage, DK and Pally) I accept I simply won’t get any spots in 25 mans outside of pugs so I’m just going to be maining my mage. Also may pick up warrior as well because I’ve always enjoyed arms.
Ive seen them attacking Plate in general which is insanity because 75% of the tank classes are plate. If people were to follow the forums, then noone would bother making tanks anymore. The only logic I could see behind that is that there is only 1-2 tank spots per raid and itll be too competitive, so youll never get geared up.
Well for Pallies/Dk DPS its just a simple maths.
When you open LFG its a sea of DK/Pallies I would invite hunters/mages/warlocks/shamans/boomies regardless of GS, they just get an automatic spot so I don’t have to play with the pally/dks all the time.
Tanks are hesitant to invite DK/Pallies/Warriors as well as they could ninja loot their tank gear. Nothing better than rocking 3 casters as a tank and having the monopoly on all melee gear.
Because Wrath Classic is an elitist community full of people who want to feel smug for completing 14 year old content
Just avoid those players, blacklist them whenever you run into them, keep note of who the nicer players are.

It’s because plate DPS outside of DK serves no purpose. There is a need for tanks/healers. Don’t play ret or fury/arms. Simple. They suck. You want to place those? Respec in T10 or main change to those classes. Playing inferior specs at this point in the game is pointless. All classes are viable, just play the proper spec. People trash specs not classes. Just quite simply i refuse to invite them to my groups until they re-roll respec. The fastest way to solve the paladin and warrior saturation is for the community to stop inviting the dps specs for those classes.
Yeah, toxic ppl are spreading in games. Just ignore them and find your own group. Lots of ppl in game tend to express their toxic thought onto others to make up for their failure in real life.
