Why is there no "Practice" for Visions?

I feel like if there was an option to do practice runs for Heroic Visions they would be a lot more bearable. As is right now, they are so punishing if you don’t know how to do them properly, and you can only get so far with watching videos / reading guides.

I mean heck, even mythic raids you can keep trying constantly and getting better with no rewards unless you kill the boss.

I believe the daily visions in Uldum/Vale are suppose to serve as our “practice” visions.

Please stop asking to make this simple game even easier. Look at the map. Plan your run and go slow your first time. Shoot for 3 chests and back off if it looks like you won’t make it.

Made a comment saying exactly this on another post about visions.

learn from experience, you should be able to run them 3-4 times a week and they will stay around for the entire patch. unless you are constantly failing them you will be able to catch up on the cloak if that is your issue (capped at +7 currently with it increasing by 1 each week) or maybe try grouping up with other players. it can be more forgiving in a group for a lower ilvl or certain specs than it is to run them solo.

and don’t forget to do the titanic upgrades on the machine next to MOTHER to improve your character inside the visions.

It’s been 1 week. You’ll get better at them. Would you really want to start out smashing the whole thing on the first day? Practice makes perfect, sure. But some times getting thrown in the deep end straight away is fun and exciting.

How is it making it easier? All it would do is provide practice without the punishing factor, no reward so no risk. Makes sense. It is literally the exact same difficulty. The only thing you would avoid is the time sink to either wait until next week or farm out another 10k CVs

There is no practice because Blizzard has to make this content last 10+ months. The more you fail and lose your vessel the longer it takes you to get done with the cloak. Might make it last a few extra weeks.

They should have made it only eat up coalescing visions if you are successful, or something.

If unlimited “zero pressure” practice runs won’t make it easier, then why are you asking?

An easy fix for this. The Vessel is what enables you to collect things ‘from’ the vision and bring them out. If you enter without a Vessel, you get no loot or rewards. You can enter as many times as you like but you get no rewards unless you burn a vessel.

Name one aspect of the game that has this kind of restraint. There virtually isn’t any. Even mythic plus, you can take as long as you want, you’ll just receive less reward.
The visions dfficulty don’t change just because you do more of them. Therefore they don’t become easier. All it does is give you more experience. Just the same if you run 20 wipes into a raid boss, or take 2 hours to do a mythic plus run. It’s the same difficulty, you are just able to handle more.
