Why is the reward for the delve weekly garbage?

Why is the weekly reward so much worse than the weekly timewalking one? Who on earth is doing 5 delves for this if they weren’t already?

Edit: So I thought 597 was veteran at first and I was wrong, that’s on me. Still not doing 5 delves for one piece of champion gear. Maybe it’s good for some people or rat alts. But not for me. I’m salty from a crappy vault too so just in a bad mood.

Why haven’t we had the good weekly earlier in the season though? The dungeon weekly is usually early for that early bonus hero piece. Now by the time it happens I won’t need hero gear anymore either.

Should be heroic loot. Like the tw raid chest.

Is it even raid loot? Or just more delve loot.

Then the weekly is irrelevant to you if you hate the content.

That’s like whining about the PvP or Pet Battle weekly rewards. :yawning_face: Moving on.

It’s equivalent to heroic raid level gear. It’s not garbage.

well you can do 5 tier 1s - that is what my fresh characters will do plus the weekly is doing 3 so you only do 2 extra

Well, because OBVIOUSLY doing TW is harder than Delves, thus the lower reward.

Edit:

I’m guessing it’s because they didn’t want people to run T1 Delves to get a heroic track item. They COULD have made the requirement to do T6 or higher, but this was easier.

it’s not hero track, it’s champion track. I thought it was veteran at first and I was wrong. But champion for FIVE delves still poor cost/benefit ratio imo.

It’s champion gear. And if you’re doing T7+ bountifuls, you’re already getting champion gear anyways.

597 could be an upgrade for most of my characters. Many of them still have green and blue items.

Since it doesn’t matter the difficulty of the Delve, you can faceroll T1 Delves and end up with an easy piece of Champion-track gear.

I don’t see how that’s a bad time/reward ratio. Quicker than 10-20 World Quests or 5 Dungeons.
