Honestly, it should just reward a Delver’s Bounty IMHO. Feed back into it.

Pretty sure timewalking also only gave normal raid level loot for the weekly quest

Yeah the dungeon one gives you normal raid loot. But the final boss one gives you a piece of heroic gear.
lol… it’s so cute when folks act elitist. What’s really funny is that champion track goes up to 619, which only one of your items is. Guess you must be posting on your rat alt huh?

Those are both garbage too. This isn’t the thread do cry about that, though. 
Here is my two cents:
I just ran 4 bountiful t8 delves, and i was gonna wait till tomorrow to do a 5th, as i feel it’s a smarter way to spend my time then do a low non-bountiful delve with no reward at the end, but i wanted to see if the reward was raid item or just another random delve item, so i ran a regular 3 just for efficiency…
The item from the box was a pair of ilvl 597 gloves from the delve’s loot pool…
That is so god damn disappointing…
I am runing lvl 8s, i already got 603+ items… So what’s the point of this quest?
This is terrible! My fresh 80 rogue whom i hit 80 sunday night, got 4 delves done this monday rank 8, solo, eaaaasy, with just ilvl 580…
You need lvl 80 to get the quest… So anyone can already get 603s just by runing those 5 delves for the quest realy…
It either needs to be bumped to 610 ilvl, similar to the items you can already get in tier 8 from the hidden chests, or if is gonna remain on champion track, AT LEAST, at the very least, make it so is an item from the raid, giving solo people a slim chance at a raid trinket that may be bis for them.
To be fair, the quest reward outright states “Delver’s Spoils”. That to me is rather explicit that it would come from the loot pool of delves. It’s been this way for many expansions, such as “Cache of Antoran Treasures” and so forth.
I really enjoy Delves, but the notion that they were going to (or should) give 610 Hero Track gear, or gear from the raid, is a bit silly. Even sillier when you consider that you could do the Weekly by doing 5 T1 Delves. You can clear some of those in less than 5 minutes, which is less time than almost any other weekly, let alone one that would award gear of that upgrade track.

Maybe you inspect those players with full 600+ pve gear. Yeah i have no clue about the fastest most efficient way to obtain that. Personally i have bad rng such as duplicates gear, pieces of gear set that do drop at 584 but i have 610 already on that slot, lots and lots of trinkets from weeklies
Now what i do is just make several characters. lets say 3-4 characters that i gear up just 567. After that, queue up for raid finder and battlegorunds. dont fomo every weekly quests, it wont speed up the progress too much on a single character. Then whoever gets highest ilevel that week should attempt harder content such as delves, m+, normal raid etc. After reaching 600+ ilevel, the cycle still continues unless there are side quests to do
Play however you like tho. just hopefully you focus less on bad rng
I’m not elitist, everyone has rat alts. Also when I first said that I thought 597 was veteran and I was wrong. But calling the reward potentially “619” when it’s 597 is disingenuous just to make a snarky comment to a stranger online. Unless the reward also includes 90 runed crests that don’t count toward the weekly cap. You actually looked up my armory for a forum post? yeesh…
How is 597 NOT 619? Folks that appreciate the 597s are grinding the upgrades eventually to 619. That’s kind of how the system works? It’s not disingenuous at all. What is disingenuous is to pretend that 597s are garbage when your gear is hardly better.
Delves in general give garbage. I can do 4 bountifuls and get a trinket every single time. Most of the time its a trinket I already have. (Fang, Candle, Serum) On top of that every item you get from a chest is like 603 unless you get a map and good luck finding one of those.

Again you try to twist this into some weird insult about my current gear, when I and most people are limited by crests and not available champion pieces. I don’t know what your problem is. “Garbage” is pretty obvious rhetorical exaggeration meaning not helpful to me. And I’ve said several times I mistakenly thought it was veteran when I first typed that.

If the reward was better, it would be better for you too.
You’re right, the reward should be Mythic Ilvl fishing pole.
That would actually be really cool imo. Something cosmetic added to the random champion piece would be great. Maybe one of the delve hats or a dirigible schematic?
