I’m not defending that, but do you think someone actually would as a response to that?
Kinda wanna know another persons perspective on that before I get deeper in the convo
no doubt. imagine joining a game, having no clue what happened in the past, even several expacs later, cause ya just play casually and dont read the novels and only barely follow whats happening in the expac you’re playing, to have some guy 14 years later, claiming you deserve to not enjoy your game experience if you’re on the other faction because of lore that even predates the game itself. that i’m the only person pointing out how twisted that is, speaks volumes about how bad its actually gotten.
i have no idea. but i do know that before i went in the coma, i went slowly insane. it was the most excruiating experience i have ever had. had babies without medicine. had breast cut off. had infection in my brain that shut down all my body functions and bad headaches. nothing comes close to going bonkers. now if someone had told me at that point to die, i wouldve probably thought it was a message from god or something.
in short, i dont think promoting corpsegrinder as the go to guy for how i should view myself is a good idea. do you? i mean thats why blizzard apologized, cause the guy was way outta line. he actually told night elf players to go cut their wrists. seriously guys. is it really that bad to have a 2 faction game? if so, ask blizz to just have an one faction game, so you dont have to wish so much negativity on random people you dont even know.
No race is better than Blood Elves as far as I’m concerned. Up until Void Elves the Alliance wasn’t really tolerable for me to play…female gnomes were about the only race I could enjoy. But Void Elves make the Alliance have better choices now, for me anyway. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Alliance plays alliance because they like to complain and be casuals
Horde likes to play horde because they like the races.

I’ll always think the alliance actually wants to play horde but wants to play horde on the alliance. They seem to not like anything alliance, their races, animals, cultures, etc but still for what ever reason play alliance. Horde players actually like their races so when something like a re-skinned tauren or orc come out, were happy but you reskin alliance races and they have an actual heart attack. We usually like our mounts so getting the 800th wolf is still cool but the alliance getting the 800th horse is world breaking. Just stuff like that that makes me wonder why you play a faction your clearly seem to dislike. Is it because they have humans?
The only way to make the alliance forum population happy seems to be to release things that are clearly horde aesthetic but on their faction.

The Horde philosophy in game attract those type of players, A faction that thrives in chaos and hatred & war will normally attract those type of players not all people on Horde players are like that though, The Old they are the Horde so I can act like one in game mentality, Alliance Thrives On Balance and Order and much more mellow, Alliance player tend to do their own thing and avoid confrontation.
This is why BFA was a failure, it brought the different game styles of the factions into focus, Making an expansion based on PVP wont work with the two different styles especially when they are not equal mechanics wise when it comes to pvp imho. Also trying to turn wow into a esport was a flop it only served one segment of the community and did’nt work either.

See, that’s something I cannot agree with / understand.
Alliance players want to have a more relaxed approach to the game, that’s absolutely fine, but to then complain the other faction gets more stuff done because “we are horde” and then claiming you should have all the same as we do for less seems a bit… cheap? if I can say.

I Didn’t say more relax, I said more different approach to game philosophy wise, Alliance is Calm, Order, Law based, Horde is Chaos, War, Hatred base, Which players tend to reflect in game towards one another. Add the devs bias to it made it a bomb that exploded in BFA. That is what I was trying to say, Sorry for the misinterpretation.

As someone who has mained Horde from BC till BFA, (I was Alliance in Vanilla and BFA) almost every single Horde player I met fell into 1 of 2 camps:
- I have to be the prettiest race so its Blood Elf for me. I mean Humans are too fat and Blood Elves are just skinny humans with long ears,
- Death to the Alliance
Almost every post that is against even Horde characters is because they MIGHT be a little too friendly with Alliance. Horde player are “Death to the Alliance” more than they are “For the Horde”.
If they cared about the Horde, there would be tremendous support for Baine, just like the other leaders of the Horde have. Almost EVERY Horde leader supports Baine.
Player base wants to kill him because he was too nice to the Alliance. He’s Horde as are all his people. “For the Horde” means you would shut up and support them.

And I happen to have experienced the exact opposite of what you are experiencing. Strange.
OP don’t pretend just the Horde is to blame. Trust me the Alliance is equally toxic to the Horde. This game was designed around the dynamic of different camps. Its tribalism.
