The alliance community? Not saying their opinion doesnt matter but its like this. So remove any personal attachments and opinions on topics and Look at the fourms and see all the post about how unhappy alliance players are. If 3 out of 10 alliance players are unhappy then its just people whining. If 6 or more of 10 are unhappy their is an issue. Wither you agree with what people are whining about is irrelevant. The fact that this many people are unhappy is an issue for all of us in the long run.
People are going to tell you that the forum is a tiny sample size and our opinions don’t reflect the collective and are therefore irrelevant. That’s always the canned response.
Their opinions, of course, are much better. Obviously.
That’s not just a Horde thing. We are toxic to each other.
Case in point.
It’s more an Alliance being toxic to Horde thing, but everyone is toxic to everyone else.
Alliance just complains more visibly than the Horde does.
It’s not a Horde thing.
It’s a human thing.
People like being on a team and being toxic towards the other teams.
Humanity is so sad lol
Every experience I’ve had on the alliance has been uptight losers who can’t partake in rowdiness
I’ll try to describe it, I think that the element of fantasy games alliance caters to attracts people who take themselves too seriouslyl
That’s how I see them anyway
What i see is many Alliance players are unhappy almost daily because of the silliest things. The sky is the wrong shade of blue and all of sudden were flooded with tears.
You got some sensitivities types over there.
That’s usually what happens when you have more to complain about.
It’s been my experience that Alliance and Horde players are equally toxic and have woefully underdeveloped reading comprehension.
I blame the United States education system.
Excuse me sir, are you new to the internet?
I think a lot of this is residual from the early days. In the beginning I think most Warcraft and Bnet Blizzard fans gravitated toward Horde while most newcomers, younger people, and general generic MMO Everquest-style fantasy fans gravitated toward Alliance. Which is why Alliance dominated the raiding scene in the early days (fearward helped).
Who came up with these numbers?
No. It isn’t.
It depends what the whining is about.
Elitists gonna elite.
I find it to be the opposite. Some Alliance players seem to be extremely toxic towards the Horde, blaming them for the events of BfA rather than blaming the Writers.
This negativity, entitlement and patronising finger pointing has been evident for some time now.
The horde is not toxic!
The horde is being what it always has been!
What the horde and her players are! The horde!
The word toxic has lost all meaning.
Hmm. Are you trying to say that the Horde posters reflect how the Horde is written in game?
LOL@this. You must be new to the forums.
This can be explained in one word. Tribalism. If you create two groups arbitrarily people will have more positive feelings about the one they’re apart of and more negative ones about the other group even when it doesn’t matter. Imagination how much worse it will be when people actually chose there group.
The horde has more population who invest a lot of time in the game. So its natural they would have a more toxic population
But the fact is the faction doesn’t matter on toxicity . Even on Alliance there are toxic players just not many because of the obvious.
